Bought a Brevile Edge low steam kettle 7.7.24. It has blown my electrics 3 times this morning. It wasn't a cheap kettle and when I looked on Amazon to see if it was still in warranty, it said it fini... See more

Breville commitment to sustainability? I don’t think so!
I recently bought a breville coffee machine. When I got it home I found a simple but vital part was missing, a short length of plastic tube. Because it was a recently discontinued model it was the last in the shop so I knew I couldn’t get the part via the store. Breville’s website however, claims a commitment to supplying spare parts in its support of the right to sustainable repair and renew rather than throw away and replace. But I was told they were out of stock of the part and could not help me. So their commitment to sustainability is a myth; they cannot even supply a simple piece of plastic tube. If I return the machine to the shop I will get my money back but that isn’t the point. If I do that, this brand new, otherwise serviceable machine will be thrown away. I don’t want that to happen so I will try to find a suitable piece of tube elsewhere, even though I shouldn’t have to.

Only had the toaster for a few weeks and it now keeps tripping my electrics. Very cheap and poorly made.
NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Bought a glass kettle before lockdown at a holiday home. went to use it and it has a crack, Breville say out of its warranty and cant help.
AVOID ANY BREVILLE PRODUCT - NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE AND NOR IS THERE CUSTOMER CARE. MORE LACK OF CARE
DO NOT BUY BREVILLE
Breville leaking water kettle and bad service
I got gifted a breville water kettle from my partners mum we only had it a couple of months and it started leaking I was worried that it could electric shock someone in our home so I contacted breville only for them to say they can't replace the kettle even though its faulty and they even said do not use our kettle if it is leaking as it is dangerous so what we suppose to do it was a gift ?
Good toaster. Not so good kettle.
Was gifted a toaster and kettle set one Christmas since our old one was looking tired and we requested a new one to go with our newly decorated kitchen. I'd give 3 stars for the toaster since this still serves us well almost 2 years later but the kettle leaked about 2 weeks in and when emailing breville they just didn't care to try & sort it out. So we thought it must just be the unlucky faulty 1 in the batch and purchased exactly the same one since we liked the look and colour etc. But exactly the same issue about 4 months down the line. So we had decided after the lack of customer service the first time we'd just stay clear of breville from here on and purchase other brands in future. Pity, because some of the stuff looks real nice.
Very poor quality
Very poor quality. Bought a sandwich maker and it was broken after using a few months.
Purchased one of your toasters Breville…
Purchased one of your toasters Breville ITT2001 2 Slice Toaster - Stainless Steel. When we tried to use it with a standard slice of bread the bread would not go fully down. The device did not seem to have a fault but was clearly not stuck. The design is not allowing it. This meant a section of bread was left outside the heat range. We of course returned it, but were accused of using it (duh!) how else do you know a slice of bread wont go fully in. Warburtons BTW your bread is too large. Do not buy this product!!!!!!!

Brought a hot cup from Argros but it just splatters the water out, contacted Breville but because had not used it from new waiting filter system did not want to know. Amount of water in mugs changes each time .They asked for info which I sent but said now out of date not know how long Argos had in stock.
Really Poor Customer Service
Breville does not do customer service - beware.
Breville Barista Express purchased 15 months ago.
Steam Ring has broken twice. Local distributor in Singapore seems to never have stock, Breville Australia unwilling to help, extremely slow in responding: my request on April 2, 2021, was answered on July 1st, three months late!
Out of 15 months, the machine has now been broken about 5 of those, with no one seemingly willing or able to help.
Makes great coffee but not much use if keeps breaking and no ability to get spare parts. Have tried OEM from Amazon / Ali - doesnt work unfortunately.
Built-in Obsolescence of Breville Kettles
In March 2015, we purchased a Cream Collection 1.5 litre jug kettle to match other things in our kitchen. In March 2018 it "died" after just three years moderate family use.
Undaunted, in April 2018 we bought almost exactly the same model (VKJ776) and all seemed fine but in May 2021 the on/off switch suddenly snapped off. Tried to glue it back but without success.
Disappointing if products are being manufactured in such a way that after three years, a seeming built-in obsolescence
comes into effect. Have learned our lesson and will be buying a replacement from ... just about anyone but Breville!
If I could I would give them -1 / This…
If I could I would give them -1 / This company is a complete facade and they do not provide any customer service. Take your money for a faulty product and never reply to you! I got a water fountain from them and after almost 8 months of following up even with their Australian HQ, I did not receive a single reply. I even gave them the option to let me know that they were not interested but they did not even take the time to do that! Stay away at all costs!
Fabulous customer service
Fabulous customer service from Breville. Replaced my water bottle when the top broke off. Thank you Collins

Sadly I have to say how disappointed I was with your customer service, last year we ordered a complete set of kitchen goods (coffee machine, kettle, toaster - all in the beautiful white and rose gold), when the kettle broke I emailed and was told I was unable to get a replacement so it ruins the whole set. Shame as we loved the look and they all work OK (the coffee machine is a little temperamental).
Leaks
I bought a Breville Impressions kettle in April this year in the one-off sales that Lidl do. After following the instructions to boil before use, I noticed a slight drip at the base of the kettle. On boiling a second time, the drip became more pronounced. It came from immediately below the metal strip below the Breville brand name, but at the front of the kettle.
I returned it for another. But the exactly the same thing happened in the same area, always seemingly after boiling. I returned that one too and took the refund.
Hot cup
Brought a hot cup and was very surprised, hot water in about 20 seconds and you don't have to wait around just put your cup under and it fills it to the perfect level then turns itself off, water is as hot as you woukd get from the kettle, can't believe I wasted all that time waiting for the kettle to boil, would recommend to anyone great item plus looks great too 😁
Very disappointing
Very disappointing. Bought an expensive air fryer and less than 2 years later it stopped working and is in repairable. It’s an electrical fault, the rest of the air für is as good as new. I contacted customer support to find out how to get it repaired and was told the line has been discontinued so no chance of a replacement part - let alone a replacement fryer! 2 years is a shockingly short life span for an expensive electrical item and a shameful environmental impact if the solution is to trash it and buy another one. Really bad form for such a big company
Bought the “hot cup” just boils one cup…
Bought the “hot cup” just boils one cup of water but i can not find a tea mug that it fills it stops about 2cm from filling an average tea cup from Sainsbury’s. Would be a great product if you could adjust the water amount for the size of a standard mug or this was taken into account on design.
My brevillekettle went on fire and…
My brevillekettle went on fire and luckily my husband was still in the kitchen or the house would have been on fire , sent an email, it took them one month to get back to me , in that time I took it back to the retailer who were extremely helpful and gave me my money back and an investigation got underway, when grevillea did get back to me I told them I took it back to the retailer and all I received back from them was an email saying thanks for your feedback , no apology no nothing , shocking customer service and I will never buy another product from them
Another arrogant organisation that…
Another arrogant organisation that believes that customer service is simply not important. Their response to issues is negative and they attempt to always reject issues with reference to their T's & C's which of cause have not been written to protect the consumer! AVIOD THIS COMPANY your money would better spent with companies like Morphy Richards who have a positive & proactive attitude to customer service. Breville don't even respond to this site which is another 2 fingers up to their 'customers'
Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service. Avoid Breville products. I bought a Breville kettle five months ago via Amazon. It stopped working all of a sudden. After five months!!!! I emailed customer service twice (I have proof) and attempted to contact them via phone (hours waiting to be connected) and they have totally ignored me. Disgusting way to treat customers. Such a waste of £40. Will avoid all Breville products in future.
