For what you pay for food the portions are not worth it. Far better going else where for something to eat.

Ginkgo Garden Centre in Bridgend Wales is excellent

Ordered a garden tool online, cheaper than on amazon, personal confirmation email, arrived promptly.

I have a problem with seed potatoes from my last seed potato order. I’ve attempted to make contact by email a few times in order to explain the problem but there has been NO response. I’m not impressed with the lack of communication.

I’m not really one for writing a review as I get annoyed at those who write them for just for annoyance sake when actually nothing could be helped. This is the he third time we have bought a fish from here now and we have stopped. 1st time put it down stress for the fish even though we have a very healthy tank, second was bought literally with white spot on and we’re told that was ok. Died. Bought two tank leeches the last two weeks and they’ve killed the two fish we have. Thanks Bridgemere! You crushed a 4 year old!

Abysmal, almost non-existent email response after supplying incorrect plants despite being listed as in stock and invoiced correctly. Company does not seem to know what is going on or how to organise stock control. 2 stars because the incorrect plants supplied were good quality but of no use to repair a damaged hedge which was the intention. Will not be using this company again.

Bridgend Garden Centre, what a great little business, friendly communications, easy to use website, competitive prices, no fuss, next day delivery (approx. 500 miles) via APC. Overall, cheaper, friendlier, and easier than driving 13 miles to my nearest B&Q only to be told the product not in stock! Well done Bridgend Garden Centre!

Ordered my Potato’s Onion Sets and Garlic from this company for a few years and never had any problems till now.
They sent me the wrong Onion Sets and an old Garlic Bulb where are the cloves had shrivelled and dried out.
They told me in May they were sending the correct onions and another Garlic Bulb, come April these had no arrived so I emailed them, they said they were sending them. I received another Garlic Bulb that the cloves were also dry and brown no Onion sets have arrived.
I sent them a photo of the Garlic and asked them to refund me for the Garlic and the onion sets that I haven’t had, they have not responded and ignored other messages I have sent.
I know it’s not a lot of money certainly not to the company but it’s not right to take some ones money and not supply the goods, I am now 71 years old and live on a pension and look forward to growing vegetables which I have done for some 40 years now.
I will have to buy Onions and Garlic this year and not grow them.
I don’t know if the company has changed ownership but to take money under false pretence is disgraceful.

Ordered some wild bird seed, cheapest price online, arrived fast, came pakaged well, great date, could not ask for more. Fantastic service

Despite living in London, in 2020 I ordered under difficult circumstances from this company in Fife - a local, family-run business - and was so pleased with how much they went out of their way to help fill my order - real personal communications. This year following, I ordered again: although I could have got the goods more locally this year, I wanted to support this company, and again the service was super. Amongst the goods ordered in 2020 were potatoes which all grew beautifully and which I expect to do the same this year. Well recommended.

Fantastic, ordered some wonderwal trellis, came the next day and postage was a fair price. Brilliant customer service. It a shame their 3 hours away from me.
