Poor Customer Service
A while back I purchased a bottle on a trip from a store they list on their site as a stockist. It was almost $50. A couple of days later at home I realized it was old stock near expiry. I had the receipt. I first contacted the store who said to contact the company directly as they only carry the products as they receive them and it's up to company reps to manage their own stock. I then contacted Brightland in hopes they would exchange for current stock. They refused. They said it wasn't their problem if stores carry and sell their product for full price when it's almost expired. Not a great look. Standing behind your product and caring to keep customers matters in the long run. I've since purchased oil a number of times, all from another company. Bad service sticks with customers. Even if they had to say no for whatever reason they really could have been much friendlier about it. I will never buy from them again. I was reminded of this today as I gave beautiful bottles of olive oil as part of the gifts for each of my siblings.
