Really good service, answering detailed questions via email. The valves are amazing value and from a Great British brand; they were also very well packed and arrived quickly. Definitely my choice for 6550s and KT88s from now on but I also intend on trying their pre-amp valves as well.

Great company to deal with. No issues. I would consider changing delivery company though. As a consumer they are limited unless you can stay in and wait for delivery. That said, the product is worth the inconvenience

I bought a matched quad of these Brimar valves. They arrived quickly and very well packed. I have just tested them and they are very good and accurately matched. Definitely recommended!

Only bought 2 ECC83s so far however these are as good as any I have tried so far including NOS. Low noise, low microphony.

I purchased 4 KT66 valves which arrived promptly and exceedingly well packed. I've been using them for a couple of weeks in an Icon Audio Stereo 40 MK3 amplifier. I've never used KT66's before so am unable to say how they compare with other 66's sonically. What I can say is that the bias has remained rock steady. I have set it once and that's that. The Brimar logo is not in the same place on all the valves, so on some it can be seen on others it can't. I understand that current thinking among some audiophiles is that the makers mark should be hidden. Personally I disagree, and like to see the makers mark, in this case Brimar, when I look at the amp.

for hifi use:
the Brimar ecc82 have been installed on a built-in ayon audio sunrise II amplifier. I must say that the sound has impressed me. powerful and precise low range combined with an almost aggressive medium range but at the same time detailed and never annoying with a good 3d stage. great purchase!

Love the sound of the Brimar ECC83's and EL34's in my Laney amp.

Great products. Just hope more will be made in the UK in the future.
