After exhausting all options

After exhausting all options, Bristol Data Recovery were the only company able to help us recover data from our 4-disk Synology NAS. The NAS had already been sent to two other data recovery companies who were unable to make any progress and effectively wrote the job off. From the outset, the team at Bristol Data Recovery were knowledgeable, transparent, and clearly experienced with complex RAID and NAS systems. They carefully assessed the setup, explained the issues in clear terms, and successfully recovered the data that we had been told was unrecoverable. A highly professional service from a team that genuinely know what they are doing. Highly recommended.

Terrible advise

Terrible advise, therefore lost all my data. long story short I had gone to another company but considered the quote very high. so contacted bristol data recovery. The gentleman I spoke to confidently said that the first company were having me on and were conning me, so get it back and send it to him. I half the cost upfront, and they were unable to recover any data at all. Im livid as the previous company had been able to recover my files and could prove it by telling me the names of them. this company shrugged their shoulders and invoiced me a further £60 to have my property sent back. Unbelievable!!

Perfect service and communication

My iPhone was completely dead. I was devastated because I lost over 3000 pictures of my baby boy. I’ve been told in Apple Store that there is no chance to get my data back. Then I found Data Clinic. I’m so happy with their service. The communication was perfect and they have managed to recover all the data. I was expecting to get my iPhone in pieces. I was shocked when I realised it’s working again. I don’t know how they did it but they did brilliant job. I highly recommend Data Clinic. Perfect and professional service.

Great Service from a repeat Customer

I would highly recommend Bristol Data Recovery to anyone needing a Professional Data Recovery service. I sent back damaged hard drive off to Ontrack Data Recovery who quoted me a £1250+vat to recover the data. I paid them £500+vat upfront to attempt the recovery, they could not recover any data after 2 weeks. I sent it off to another company in Wales who also charge me £350+vat and could not recover any data after 3 weeks. My IT Manager advised myself to contact Bristol Data Recovery as he has used their services several times over the years to recover company laptops. Sent drive into Bristol Data Recovery and they advised they could recover a high percentage of data form the hard drive but not everything due to some disc platter damage. I paid £300+vat for their services and they recovered 98% of data for me within 3 days. Compared to other companies these guys are the best and they recovered data other so called companies said was unrecoverable. Will use them again if I have more bad luck.

Avoid like the plague!!

Having just read the existing review by Victoria...very similar experience...I have also checked with companies house, and can find no record of this company either. The 'manager' Tony Smyth writes emails such as these;" Drive should not have been sent into us if you could not pay.
We charge £20+vat for return shipping fee or we can dispose of drive free of charge.
Contact us tomorrow to make payment with a card over the phone".
Eight emails between us later Smyth writes. "To get rid of you we will post back via a signed service free of charge, will take one week to get to you.
Job is now closed, we want absolutely nothing to do with you.
Don’t contact us again as your email and phone have now been blocked".
To see the full reasons why Smyth decided to send my disk back, see the review on Yelp.com. The disc appears (like Victoria said in her review) to be less readable than before. I guess there is nothing to stop this happening, except by you not using this company.

AVOID!!

Please read below (this company is the same as Bristol data recovery' reviewed below)

This company is not as it seems. Their website leads you to believe that they have multiple locations and large nationwide team. After dropping my hard drive into their 'office' which is merely a desk front that receives their mail - I did some research...
It turns out there is one location in Ireland which is run by a small team, not the many locations listed on the website, they are all office fronts.
The website promised data recovery within 2-3 days, and after about 10 days since posting my hard drive and several emails to try and chase up what was taking so long, I was told my recovery was complete and to make payment. I then realised the recovery report had gone into my junk mail (which was odd as other emails had not) The report showed that only 260gb from a 1TB hard drive had been recovered...certainly not the 98% that was estimated to me through email.
I then proceeded to call the company to tell them I did not want the recovery saved and to refund me as in my eyes it was an unsuccessful attempt. Whoever I spoke to (I did not get their name) was quite rude to me and I was left quite upset. Eventually I got my refund but I was also sent an email with the line 'Further recovery of any data from damaged drive will not be possible due to bad state of disk platters’ so my disk was now being sent back to me in a worse state than before.
Since my experience I have spoken to another data recovery expert who has told me (in writing) that they have heard several stories from customers about this company and 'Tony' who runs it, who go's under the trade name 'easy data' on companies house.

UPDATE: I am now being threatened with legal action by ‘Tony’ if I don’t delete this this review.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
