No Respect For Parking Regulations, Safety Or Local Residents

Britiannia Coaches run a school trip to a small resort on the North Essex coast in June. Last year (2023), the two coaches parked illegally including one in a car only disabled bay.
The Residents Association wrote to Britannia at the time, to inform them that there was a designated, marked coach drop off bay circa 1/4 mile away, and then long term coach parking circa eight minutes away. Britannia's weak excuse at the time was that they dropped off the school children where asked to by the school teacher- as though that absolved their responsibility somehow to park legally, safely and responsibly.
This year therefore, it was extremely disappointing and inexcusable that they again parked illegally on a yellow line - this time on a blind bend. The school children then had to be escorted across the road on this blind bend, a dangerous exercise in itself. When a local resident politely challenged the driver on his parking location, the driver rudely responded by asking him if he had nothing better to do in his retirement! He also used last years excuse that he was just dropping off where asked to by the school teacher (risk assessment, Britannia?)

Despite writing again to Britannia with photographic evidence to point out their shortfalls, this year they even failed to respond - perhaps all out of excuses?

In summary therefore, Britannia would appear to operate with impunity, without regard for parking regulations, safety or respect for local residents.
