Dismal customer service, complete lack of communication, avoid like the plague.
This is the very first time that I have took the time to write a reveiw.
Lack of communication. No reply to emails. Telephone number not valid. Order took 2 full weeks to arrive, in all fairness there was a bank holiday in that time. Only when I opened a case with Paypal did things move and the part arrived.
Sent the wrong part then took ages to respond. Had to resort to PayPal to get a refund and even then Britbikes failed to refund my P&P costs to return the incorrect part. Truly awful communications and customer service. No phone number available only email.
The part fell apart during installation. The seller simply did not reply to my emails! I then filed a complaint via Paypal, and he insisted on having the defective part back, even though the damage was clearly visible in the pictures... Despite the immense return costs, I sent the part back. Now he claims not to have received it... Conclusion: poor quality goods, zero customer service, never again!
After purchasing a Lucas ammeter I received a part that was faulty I rang the company they promised a full refund if I sent the part back with the original invoice. i sent it with royal mail registed post who confirm it has been delivered, as it was purchased using pay pal I thought it would be straight forward but britbikes keep telling PayPal I have not sent it back. money is tight as I am looking after my disabled wife! if you look on their Facebook page you will see others who have been conned save yourself the pain and shop elsewhere
