I don’t know what you all heard.
I heard from my friend that the owner was scammed by someone he trusted ( which worked in the shop for a while) and he started giving free gifts to all the one that were affected and the money back. from his own will and pocket.
I am not sure if it’s true but if it is we should be careful not to shame him.
I also didn’t get the order for a while but my friend told me this so I’m happy to hear if it’s true

I've been a very satisfied customer for many years. Until my latest order placed in June!!! Thankfully, my bank refunded me the £116.16 paid for the order I didn't receive. I reported them to Bury Trading Standards at the beginning of July and took their advice to write to the company at the new Bury address given on the website. I have just had my letter returned by Royal Mail as undeliverable. Amazingly the website is no longer in use (Account Suspended) so at least no one else can be ripped off.

I have dealt with British Bird Food for years and spent hundreds of pounds with them. They were always excellent and as mentioned by others, you always received a personal touch. Sadly I tried to contact them by phone email and via their website with no response. I went ahead and placed on online order on 12th May costing over £105, the order went through and the money was taken the following day. After numerous attempts to chase the order, I have still not received it.
Do not attempt to buy from them. I am now ordering from Bargain Bird Food, I have had no problems with them.

I'd give them less than 1star if possible!
Like all the recent reviews - they used to be excellent but now - no delivery of order and no reply to phone or emails or website.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

As with the other reviewers, this used to be a good company that provided a great service for years. They've now moved and someone else owns them and they're just common thieves. They took my order for just under £50 worth of bird food in April and didn't deliver it. They don't answer the phone or any messages, yet they're still taking orders to steal from other honest buyers. I've complained to Bury Council trading standards about them. They should be prosecuted

This used to be an amazing family run company and I’m not sure what’s happened but I haven’t received my order and I am getting no response to my emails and phone calls - it’s a massive shame as this was a wonderful company with such a personal touch! Now it’s turned into a thieving money company!! Completely gutted.

As per the other reviews. British Bird Food used to be good, but they are now not delivering, not responding to emails and now taking phone calls.
A shame, but they should now be treated as scammers and avoided like the plague.

British Bird food have previously been very good but I have neither received my last order nor any response. Much the same a Nico's post. What a shame.
I bet the website is still taking borders
