Sadly disappointed
Pros; good selection of products, easy web site to use and to search for favourites. The packaging is always superb and I look forward to all the unwrapping like it’s Christmas morning!
This last box was also well packaged however
Cons: a lot of items were squashed. 90% of the chocolate had the “old chocolate” white bloom and was deformed. Biscuit packets were boxes of crumbs. Sadly, wether or not this was a one off, or a weather issue, or other, these items are luxury food products and too expensive to throw money away on.

The white bloom you noticed on the chocolate is typically caused by exposure to heat or temperature fluctuations during transit, which can unfortunately affect both the appearance and texture of chocolate products. Similarly, the squashing of items and biscuits arriving as crumbs suggests the parcel may have been subjected to some rough handling during its journey to you.

I appreciated the quick delivery but it would have been nice to put cold packs in the box. I'm in California and it's hot here. I ordered chocolates so some of the items were very, very soft. If I had got home an hour later, my chocolates would have melted.

We are sorry to hear that your chocolates arrived very soft due to the heat in California. We do want to make you aware that we have clear warnings on our website advising customers in warmer climates to take extra care when ordering chocolate products, as unfortunately once a parcel leaves our warehouse we have no control over the temperatures it may be exposed to during transit.
Whilst we are not able to include cold packs with our orders, we would always recommend that customers in hotter regions consider this when placing orders containing chocolate, particularly during the warmer months. Choosing an expedited delivery option where possible can also help to minimise the time chocolates spend in transit.

Your message was responded to as soon as we reopened, and we would never intentionally leave a customer without a reply.
We also want to be transparent and state that upon making contact, a full resolution was offered to you by our team. Unfortunately, rather than accepting this, we were met with abusive communication which made it very difficult for us to proceed.
