After going through some old photos and reminiscing about the days I had a full head of hair, I booked a consultation with British Hair Clinic, and came away seriously impressed.

Af, one of the consultants, was refreshingly honest. No sales pitch, no pressure. While other clinics said I could get a full hairline, he was upfront and explained I don’t have enough donor hair for a good result. He even said my head shape suits me as I am.

That level of honesty is rare. Most places push for a sale, these guys clearly care about doing what’s right for the patient.

I didn’t go ahead with surgery, but left feeling reassured and respected. You can see why they’ve built such a strong reputation.

Also, for something this personal, staying in the UK just makes sense, proper aftercare and peace of mind over going abroad.

I did a fair bit of research before settling on British Hair Clinic, Shenfield. I had a face-to-face consultation with them, and also with a Harley Street practice (and also dealt with a second Harley Street practice by video meeting only). I met Af for a face-to-face in Shenfield and at the same time requested a quick chat with one of the surgeons if available, and was pleased that neither of them were too “salesy”, managing my expectations pointing out that I would not be able to get full coverage and we agreed that the front area was most important to concentrate on. The surgeon also confirmed Af’s initial assessment of 1500 to 1700 grafts maximum. This was much the same as the assessment made in London at a face to face meet. On testing the second London Clinic by asking if they were sure an in-person meet wasn’t necessary, the consultant (salesman) repeated his assessment that I could easily get 3000+ grafts and they did not need to see me in person. They were also very persistent in chasing me. So that was them out of the picture. The better London Clinic was nevertheless in my opinion too much of a production line for my taste and logistically was not good for the journey home. British Hair Clinic, Shenfield ticked all the boxes. They have been doing this in the same location for over a decade with no turnover of surgeons.
I am currently two weeks post procedure and can that tell the workmanship was very good, for which the surgeon and support staff should be praised. The whole experience was exactly as described, and highly professional. Likewise the follow-up to date. I will have my first PRP in a month or so.

I had been considering a hair transplant for many years before I eventually visited the British Hair Clinic. I was concerned about the thinning at the front of my hair and on the crown.
I had carefully researched various options, and having had medical issues with my heart previously I wanted to ensure I was in completely safe hands and in the UK with a full team on hand for aftercare.

After my initial consultation with the British Hair Clinic, I felt completely reassured that they took my health concerns very seriously. They composed a letter for me to pass to my Heart Consultant throughly explaining the procedure and anaesthesia to be used. I was required to have the go ahead from my consultant prior of any appointments being made or money changing hands.

Onto the actual procedure and the whole Team were great. A very relaxing environment, super clean and very professional. The aftercare of follow up calls and appointments was excellent. I had the transplant in June 2024 and now in February 2026 I am very pleased with the results. It has made a huge difference to my confidence and I am so glad that I finally had it done.

I had an excellent experience at the British Hair Clinic in Hale. From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel completely comfortable and well looked after.

The free consultation was thorough and honest — they took the time to explain all my options clearly without any pressure. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cared about achieving the best possible result for me. Every question I had was answered in detail, and I felt fully informed throughout the entire process.

I was apprehensive about the procedure but I was put at ease and the day was smooth and far less daunting than I expected. They even provide a free lunch! The team’s expertise and attention to detail were evident at every stage.

Aftercare support has also been fantastic — they provide all the immediate aftercare supplies, including 2 sessions of PRP treatment. The team were regularly checking in via WhatsApp to ask if I had any questions.

Friendly, calming & gets the results!
Obviously, I was very hesitant with my hair journey! From denying it was going years ago to walking into the British Hair Clinic for the very first time… it was & probably is for most people, a scary & fearful process to even talk about.
If anybody could be calming & talk me through the process (as well as being cheaper than other UK competitors) The British Hair Clinic were the one!
I don’t live local to their Clinic so when I visited for the first time was when I went for the surgery! I think this was also the best way to do it, commit & dont turn back!
Before any of this though I felt so welcomed via phone calls & video calls. Knowing exactly what to do & expect when I arrived on the day. Likewise, the whole procedure was as easy going & calming as it could be. I was even recommended a great TV series by the surgeon based on what I watched during the final 3 hours of the surgery which I then watched during my initial 7-day recovery period!
The surgery itself wasn’t overly painful, I can’t say it wasn’t without pain in parts but honestly, a day later you don’t even remember those short sharp pains & just sit excited for the results to come through over time!
Highly recommend the British Hair Clinic for anybody looking to get their confidence back & of course, their hair!

I'm very happy with my results so far. Full results are from 12-18 months.

I got my FUE in February 2025 so, approx 10 months ago. I've also had 2 PRP sessions within the 10 months. The PRP treatments were included in the price. The PRP is a fantastic treatment. I could see thicker hair days after.

The whole team at the British Hair Clinic in Manchester are friendly and provide contuiosius support.

I live in Glasgow and have driven to my appointments. The drive is approx 3 hrs which is no bother.

I had a great experience at the British Hair Clinic and continue to receive support. For years, I’d been considering a hair transplant and after getting divorced, I finally had the funds to pursue it. In July 2024, I booked a free no-obligation consultation at their Hale clinic.

I was warmly welcomed and thoroughly informed about the pre- and post-procedure process.

Every question I had was answered, and the booking process was simple and straightforward. The single price included the procedure and 12 months of aftercare, which covered face-to-face reviews, 7-day access to consultants, 12 months of finasteride, and two PRP treatments to maximise the transplant’s benefits.

I had my procedure in December 2024 and was incredibly smooth. I was well-informed about everything related to the procedure, the immediate 14-day aftercare, and the longer 12-month aftercare.

I received my 14-day aftercare kit and able to have any queries answered quickly over WhatsApp. After the 14 days, I was pretty much back to normal.

British hair clinic (Altrincham) from start to finish were very informative and attentive, striving for the most optimal outcome. . Dr Zabeeh was brilliant creating a natural hairline tailoring it to my face shape and not the straight unnatural look. Aftercare was brilliant. I can’t speak highly enough of the British Hair Clinic for too many reasons to mention. I had been thinking about a transplant for many years and gave myself the deadline of turning 40 to decide whether to go ahead or not. All questions I had were answered. The one thing that did shock me was the price. I think there is a misconception that the price in the UK compared to abroad is significantly higher but it’s not. I went to see the British hair clinic in Brentwood and met Af in August 2024 for my consultation and had the transplant done in October 2024. From the first moment walking in till now the whole experience has been brilliant. I felt very welcomed by everyone and that made me feel instantly comfortable. My name is Anthony il start by say this was a experience with very high standard from start to to the end the conversation at your appointment to talk about procedures was relaxing no pressure on you explained wat the procedure making sure you were ok to hav it done. Then the day of my procedure was bit nervous but that soon disappeared with e the friendly team I'm over the moon with the result so is my partner waited 10 yrs to put her fingers through my hair😀 my self confidence is so high now . Having a hair transplant is a massive decision for anyone and one that is not taken lightly. When you have got to the point where you are seriously considering it you have already lived with anxiety and stress about your appearance and what could potentially go wrong with the procedure.

Most people will have done research and looked at various clinics to decide who to go with, I did and you worry about a multitude of things, cost, potential travel, recovery, reputation, experience. If this review saves anyone the stress of looking any further I will be happy.

From the first consultation to the last PRP appointment I could not have received better service in my opinion. The surgeons are friendly, personable and put you at ease. All the other staff and professional and welcoming. There are no such thing as silly questions and they go out of there way to make you feel comfortable. The procedure itself was done across an 8 hour period with clear instructions on post procedure care. They also respond to questions via WhatsApp very quickly.

I am delighted with the results and highly recommend the BHC.
