Fantastic service from a true enthusiast

Looked for someone to look after my pride and joy Caterham R400 and BSCS came up. Couldn’t be happier with the personal and experienced service that Dan provided. This guy really knows his engines, and is a real enthusiast. One of the other reviews on here did concern me, but I will say that there are always two sides to any story and I was fully satisfied I had found the right guy to work on my car after chatting to Dan who is such a lovely guy, honest and straightforward. If you’re looking for big and flash premises this is not the workshop for you, but if you want a proper enthusiast to work on your car who knows his stuff then I could not recommend British Sportscar Services more.

Woudn't trust them to rebuild a Lego engine.

I took my TVR Griffith to SPS Automotive (now renamed British Sportscar Services) for an engine rebuild. Less than 1,000 miles later it went bang.

It was still under warranty having been done less than a year ago.
Dan would not answer my phone calls or return my voicemails......
He was also paid in cash......

I shipped it off to a V8 specialist who found it had a cheap Chinese cam fitted and a loose jubilee clip in the sump.

Any company who doesn't have a landline doesn't want to be contacted. British Sportscar Services does NOT have a landline. Good luck if you have a problem.
