GROSS MISRESPIRESENTATION
Firstly, they falsely advertised a “superior room with king bed”. We got a double bed in a mediocre filthy room instead. They also do not turn the mattresses because when we got in the tiny bed, the feet are 12” higher than the head of the mattress. I have a neurological disability that causes leg issues for me at night and that is why it is especially necessary to have the king that I booked and paid for!The list of issues with this hotel is a mile long and I am very eager to share online with the world to see. I have photographs of everything!General/Housekeeping
Dirty - Either the cleaning crew is doing a poor job or the standards for cleanliness are rock bottom. There are huge dust balls all over the walls. The floors are not clean, etc. Dust and cobwebs are part of the decor. The heat was turned on in the room without request or notice. There is no thermostat or way to control the heat. They have windows, but no screens and the lights outside of the windows draw bugs. There is a fan in the room, but the blades have 1” thick of dust!Light switch for side bed table lamps are behind the furniture all the way to the floor on a toggle switch. You have to wade through the dust hanging from the walls to turn it on/off.We specifically requested to Ross (in person) that our room NOT be serviced and that we would reuse the towels and make the bed. We do not like an invasion of our privacy. Our privacy was invaded 9/29 when our room was entered. It wasn’t cleaned at all, but the trash was emptied.Bathroom The toilet seat is so loose I thought I would fall off.The bathroom is disgusting and not being cleaned. Filthy sink, mold all over grout in shower tile, etc.
Not so much as a box of tissues. No blowdryer for wet hair.TV worked 30% of the time. Constant “temporary Service Problem”.Breakfast Breakfast? Your choice of cereal or yogurt, 2 eggs, toast. Zero fruit. Ross (co-owner) picked up 5 coffee cups on our first morning before he found a clean one for my coffee. He left the other dirty ones exactly where he found them for the other occupants to use. Same issue on morning #2 with dirty dishes.Chairs are so cheap and wobbly it feels as though they will give way at any moment. The rooms on the first floor have little to no insulation between them because we heard every drop of piss in the middle of the night, as well as footsteps, showers, flushes, voices, etc. Cleanliness is not a priority and nothing is dusted or cleaned. Details are overlooked everywhere. There is no phone in the room to call the owners if there is an issue and I’m not spending money to use my cell phone plan. This is a fire trap with a door that locks with a key on the inside and floor to ceiling curtains in front of the door. The ’Fire Action’ notice posted on the door is completely void of any information and utterly useless. The photos online do not represent the hotel and we did not see anything that even came close to resembling the photos. Another form of advertising deception! I only wish there were more spots for all of the photos!
