Picked one up for €29 and have used it quite a bit and still on the cartridge it came with. I am only printing basic labels and it does the job very well. I can't comment on more complex text. It is a bit heavy on batteries so I use a poer adapter most of the time but handy to have the battery option when on the go. The labels could be a more sticky and tough.
Brother's P-touch editor software is rubbish. When preparing address labels it messes with text leaving larger spaces between lines and won't reduce the text size once the address is typed in while "Free Size" text is not always respected by this annoying software that costs so many extra hours to companies and staff.
They just close the chat in support page without waiting you to give your feedback.
The site footer contact links in Portugal don't work, they seem broken.
The technical support phone number doesn't answer the phone. This is a big red flag company to buy printers from.
My printer has occasional / rare use, bought in November, then one month later started to stain all pages with a mark ruining the printing quality.
As far as I can see in internet the cleaning process is not easy or straightforward, people might need to disassemble toner and mind the black powder which may be harmful. MFC-L2710DW is not a hassle-free laser printer and already started to give me headaches.
I'm completely disappointed with Brother product quality and the impatience of the support staff.
EDIT: tech support asked me to clean the printer myself, I refused it, and they now collected it to maintenance. Once they return me the printer, if it is fixed correctly, I hope to sell it to someone else and get rid of this headache.
