Last Sunday

Last Sunday, my brother changed the thermostat, but the heating system didn't start, and the screen was blank. He contacted this company, which determined that a wiring problem was the source of the thermostat's power outages. Once the loose connections were tightened and the system tested, the thermostat was reactivated, and the heat started immediately.

I'm the only review and trust pilot is lying and giving them three stars!

I rent and my landlord hires browns to maintain my furnace. Last year my furnace started pumping black smoke and chunks of soot the size of rice crispys into my basement everytime it started. My landlord sent browns to my house no less than 8 times to repair my furnace, each time one of several different technicians would fiddle around, maybe clean the nozzle maybe fiddle with the chimney pipe and then tell me the furnace is fine. Should it be pumping black smoke into the basement everytime it started I would ask? Yes that is normal they would assure me often getting belligerent when I insisted that I should not smell burning when my furnace is running. In the end I had to appeal to my landlord to replace the furnace as browns not only couldn't fix it but they insisted that it didn't need to be fixed.
Fast forward to this winter and my new furnace starts randomly blowing cold air for hours at a time, I diagnose the problem as a bad fan limit switch and call my landlord to have it repaired (as a side note I should point out that browns was also hired to install the new furnace) and of course my landlord hires browns to come and fix it. After turning the furnace on and off a couple times and supposedly making an adjustment to the length of time the fan stays on after the furnace turns off , which was never the problem in the first place, I was told that my furnace works perfectly and therefore can not be fixed. These guys can't be as incompetent as they make themselves out to be. Also they are very rude and dismissive, while they left my house they were literally laughing at my frustration.
