Brownstone Research is a boutique investment research firm that consistently delivers insights and profitable investment recommendations to its subscribers. For too long, the best investment research has not been available to individual investors. It has been typically reserved for investment banks, hedge funds, private equity, and high-net-worth clients. The mission of Brownstone Research is to make that kind of proprietary research available to any investors looking to gain an edge in the markets. The goal is simple… to deliver unique and profitable investment research found nowhere else.

This company is absolute garbage. I bought a $2000 service and ALL of the investments they recommended are down 50-98%. I have lost so much money it is pathetic. I can understand looking at the "long term" but it has been a couple years now and there is no growth or turn around in site. I am slowly selling everything that they recommended. There are other services out there that are actually legit and give good advice. Stay as far away as possible from Brownstone Research!

HOW I GOT MY MONEY BACK FROM BROWNSTONERESEARCH. I called the Delray Beach, Florida Police. I figured scammers like these want to be far away from those they cheat. So I went to the police right where they live! The officer who took my statementwas a dream: polite, dedicated, interested in getting the truth. Not gay, but would like to hug him. He sent another officer to Brownstone with my statement to get theirs. They acted innocent, but quickly agreed to send me my $500 back. Cockroaches don’t like it when you come into their nest. Good luck to all.
Laughed out loud at Marsha M's review (if I could give zero stars). Same. It's a bonafide spam mill. If you want a more pleasant experience with hucksters that at least has a better outcome--love--watch the old musical The Music Man. I guess I should thank Jeff, though, for making me more cynical?

If I could give zero stars I would. I subscribed and was thinking of purchasing their products. But I changed my mind. I even received two emails saying: [my purchase was "on hold" for another hour, so please hurry and finish] so as NOT to lose this wonderful deal!
Unfortunately, I DID NOT NOTICE I had been charged. (NEVER AUTHORIZED THIS PAYMENT!) The ONLY reason I noticed it is because I received an email that my card was charged 4 TIMES THE AMOUNT charged last year to Brownstone Research!!!! What crooks!!!! I blocked and canceled my card immediately that same day. I still need my bank to confirm they will not effectively charge me. I remember receiving an obscene amount of publicity emails from these scammers and I actually had to unsubscribe 3 times in 3 days because that junk mail just kept coming. Horrible experience. Jeff Brown is a scammer as is his company. I hear he NEVER reimburses anyone. Just imagine ripping off even just 20 people a day 50US... What a crook.

This is a SCAM operation. Let me give you insight into what happened to me so you can be smarter. Somehow I landed on 1 of these guys email lists… and I say guys because it’s not just Legacy Research Group, it’s Palm Beach Research, Casey Research, Rogue Economics, Brownstone Research, TradeSmith and the many other scams and names these guys operate with. Here’s how ONE OF THEIR SCAMS WORK…
You are offered a small low ticket product to get you in the door. It may be a small $1 offer or some offer to simply collect your credit card details. At this point as long as you stay with original product you buy they just keep trying to upsell you.
However, I cancelled within 24 hours of signing up. I have an email from them and everything to prove they “cancelled” my account. From the day that I cancelled the account I began getting super spammed by over 10 different organizations who are all “trade gurus” and many of them clearly did state in their emails they were referred to me by Jeff Brown from Brownstone Research.
It seemed like they wouldn’t stop. I would keep on unsubscribing and sure enough they would reput me on the list even though I never asked to go on it again. They would also change names and lists over and over again no matter how many times I unsubscribed I was flooded by these fly by knight traders who SCAM PEOPLE.
A simple search of Jeff Brown in my inbox and you will see dozens of different names all attached to the scammer Jeff Brown and this scam group of con artists (see attached images of screenshots). Even though I cancelled my subscription less than one day after signing up in November 2021… you can see as recently as June 2022 they email me garbage. It’s gotten so bad, I had to screenshot them me unsubscribing and even email them the screenshot so they know what they’re doing is a 100% illegal and yet they still keep emailing me!!!
Now if the scam ended there I would I guess be fine since it’s just emails… but then I got charged nearly 6 months after I cancelled and have proof of cancelling with Brownstone Research, I got a charge from SR TradeSmith for $49. Now I know what software I subscribe to and trust me I have never done business or know of TradeSmith. So called my bank and disputed it within 24 hours of seeing the charge. Oddly enough my bank then DENIED MY DISPUTE. I went crazy because I do know this was a scam charge but somehow my bank didn’t believe me.
After nearly 2 months of fighting with my bank & asking for their proof from “SR TradeSmith” I get a letter that SR TradeSmith sent to my bank. Here is where the scam all connects and you see what is intention of all these companies and scammers…
Attached you’ll find the exact letter they sent to my bank. As you can see they reference the low ticket purchase I made 6 months ago as reason why their $49 was an authorized charge. What’s weird here though is they are 2 different company so how does SR TradeSmith know purchase of products from Brownstone Research? Do you see in the letter how they crafted the letter knowing as they scam people out of $49 that they would get a flurry of chargebacks… so they drafted this letter showing how you supposedly had already 1 or 2 authorized purchases already. Your bank then goes and checks and sees they are valid and then denies your chargeback request. Scammers then get your $49 x 10,000+ people and you’ve got a huge money scheme happening with companies that I’ve listed in this review.
Now if we go to their letter they sent to my bank from SR TradeSmith you can see at the bottom they listed my purchases from 10/31/2021 and I then cancelled less than 24 hours later when I did realize these guys were all full of you know what. So I cancelled and got letter back on November 1, 2021 from them (all of my proof attached to the review) saying money had been refunded and everything was cancelled. As you can see this is clearly a SCAM!!
Long story short, I got my money back, but only after giving my bank hell. Please report these guys if you’ve been scammed. More we report, the more we can help others! If you want the proof from this review just type in any of the scam group names on Google and you will see my full review with screenshots, photos and proof of the scam!

I also bought $3000 membership with Jason Bodner called Oulier Investor. I bought it because Jason said he sees Big Businesses put a lot of money on a stock causing the stock to go up, which Jason’s people will watch and let investors know when to buy and make money as the stocks go up. I’ve yet to see this. It shouldn’t matter if the stock market is down or volatile if major large companies are pouring money into a stock causing it to go up. I’ve called about this AFTER the 30 days and was told I’d get an email which I did not get. I’ve lost thousands of dollars plus the $3000 for a lifetime membership which I regret buying. Jason and Jeff were very convincing. Buyer beware

This is a SCAM!!! I spend money for membership this scammer Jeff Brown gave promises I will make $100,000 – I just lost money and one of the companies he recommended it bankrupted – he is a pump and dump paid clown!!! They also don’t pick up the line, you cannot reach them – they do not return the membership money!
SCAM - SCAM - SCAM

My portfolio has been in the red for @$160,000 + for most of a year now, thanks to Jeff Brown, Teeka and Casey. I really can’t afford to sell and realize a complete loss-I am a widow living on soc.sec.I am forced to hang on hoping “one day” I might break even. One stock is trading at $ .023. I am completely paralyzed-and depressed. I am trying to buy a house, and this “loss” significantly weakens my buying power. Instead I’m running through my savings at an alarming rate having to rent.THEY DO say don’t invest anything you can’t afford to lose. KEEP IN MIND YOU MAY VERY WELL LOSE IT ALL.

I bought into Brownstone's portfolio for cryptocurrency for about $2800 with tax. Once they sent their information to me, I got cold feet, decided it was too speculative, and cancelled within a few days. They refused a refund and told me I had to select another portfolio and only one more choice was allowed. None of them interested me. I purchased 2 stocks they advised, and lost that money too. Total loss $5400. After this experience, when another investor said he invested $5000 in each of 20 start up IPO's at Brownstone's advice, and made no money, I bailed. Don't. Don't. Don't. Do Stansberry Research, Charles Payne, Paul Mampilly or another legitimate advisor.

This is a scam. They send marketing emails constantly to me with a $49 entry subscription. I’ve invested in several of Jeff Brown’s recommendations and lost nearly everything invested. The $49 subscription doesn’t get you anything but more marketing emails and promises of huge huge (and enticing profits). I’ve unsubscribed several times and I suppose they think, I’m once or twice a sucker, always a sucker. I hope you don’t waste your time or money on this. I’m a real person with real money, really retired and got suckered many times by people like this. If their investment ideas were legit and so remarkably great, why don’t the individuals at the company go all in themselves and make millions and billions. If they did, they wouldn’t be online trying to suck $49 out of tens of thousands of people who buy in to this crap. I thought… oh well $49 isn’t much to lose. Don’t get scammed on this one and many others like this. If you have money, get a professional financial advisor. Don’t squander your retirement dreams on this crap like I have.

What happened is I fell for their line and lost $5000. They give NO REFUNDS. I bailed when another investor wrote he followed Brownstone's advice and invested $5000 in each of 20 start up IPO's. He said he made absolutely zero. Stay away from them. Invest in Stansberry or one of the legitimate companies.

I'm very disappointed in the outcome of purchasing their services. The only reason it is not one star is because I believe they do put in effort to provide details about the investments they recommend, So far it has not been anywhere close to their sales pitches that they claim.

Reply from Brownstone Research
I didn't join them but did join others including home businesses. Instead of getting to the point and giving you a price, they waste an enormous amount of time wearing you down before giving you a price.

This fellow Jeff Brown sounds genuine and like he knows what he is talking about. Maybe he does but after subscribing to Brownstone Research I've received thousands of junk emails from other would be financial analyst type research firms and papers. Jeff probably makes more revenue selling his data base of email subscribers than he does from his company Brownstone Research. If you like getting dozens of junk email daily, definitely Jeff's your fraud man.

He is a fraud candidate overall.. I had one year exponential and lured me saying that extra one year will be free which did not happen .. all hist stock portfolio went down 30%.. huge loss

Perfect place for becoming a millionaire, all you have to do is start with 2 million, and they will be sure to lose you the other million in the space of a year.
I am a lifetime member - unfortunately. That arrangement will be coming to an end with them soon.
They fail to publish annual returns for each newsletter, and keep saying to hold on. I am not referring to the past few months worth of downside, this has been a slow leak over the past 12 months.
Stay away! or become poor!

This is a SPAM factory. They operate several so-called "newsletters" and such and you will be hammered with SPAM from one right after another. Requests to unsubscribed are ignored. If they do remove you from one list they simply start emailing you the same crap from another list. Start filing complaints with their service provider. It is usually NameCheap. Best option is to steer clear of them to begin with. Legitimate companies don't do this type of crap.
EDIT: Regarding reply from Brownstone Research to my original review - they reached out to me through Trustpilot to request "additional information." The "additional information" they requested was my phone number. Guess they wanted to start sending SPAM texts, as well.
EDIT: I got entangled with these Scammers/Spammers through the Teeka Tawari spam machine (another one you should avoid). Even after notifying them to not renew anything for me, they just tried to charge my credit card $129. That charge originated from Brownstone Research. Fortunately, the credit card company contacted me to see if it was legit and I was able to get it declined. Interesting when your credit card company will not approve a charge from a company without checking to see if it is fraud. That says all you need to know about Brownstone.

This is a scam. I lost not only my annual subscription cost but also more than70k based on their recommendations. Please do not fall for this scam. They give you a number to call or e-mail them, but their response is the same. No refund!! Be careful!!! You will lose a lot more than the subscription cost by following their recommendations. I have stopped following their recommendations, and stopped losing more.

On paying USD 140, I received constant emails that never get to the point from Brownstone. Further, I received multiple marketing emails from other so called investment advisory services trying to get me to buy their services and filling up my inbox. Ive wasted a lot of time unsubscribing to these emails. Very unprofessional and the worst subscription I have ever had.
JUST DON'T DO IT
