DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

We had a very simple conveyancing need. Just a single purchase. We had nothing to sell and the vendors had no further purchase. There were no issues with the surveys or searches and neither us or the vendors had any enquiries or disputes. Despite this, it took these solicitors 3½ months to complete the conveyancing. Our vendors very nearly pulled out because of how long it took.
They NEVER returned my calls (which I can prove with my phone records); they were unhelpful, made no effort to speed things along; cause huge amounts of unnecessary stress.
Terrible, dreadful experience.

Concerned

I Just checked out the CCJ REGISTRY and brown turner Ross solicitors have a registered CCJ of £17,034 at under their Southport office address.

This information Is published on the county courts CCJ register. This is very concerning as it remains unsatisfied and this firm is regulated to handle client accounts. Hope that the staff are fully informed.

Excellent

They have done the conveyancing on two flat sales for me now, and despite being less than plain sailing due to some red tape that was no fault of theirs, they ironed out the sticking points to achieve successful completion, which may not have been the case without their expertise.
Definitely recommend.

I have never experienced neglect like…

I have never experienced neglect like this. I don’t even know we’re to start. my situation has been so bad. I initially thought they was ok and was led to believe they acted in my interest . Little did I know they was more interested in self gain and would ignore me for years leaving me I’ll.
Who is actually leading this team as they need to go … . I feel sorry for the trainee employees as they will go in to a job thinking its normal to behave like this. It’s not, which will only lead to a similar patterns of behaviour. Little do they know that they will probably be blamed for their actions because they won’t won’t to take responsibility.
If your thinking ofHousing disrepair then don’t even bother they have uttered killed me inside out.

I cannot recommend Brown Turner Ross…

I cannot recommend Brown Turner Ross solicitors in Southport, UK. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Despite claiming to have a complaints process, they show a complete lack of understanding of their own policies and the standards set by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). My experience has been incredibly frustrating, as it feels like they stifle genuine feedback and opinions. Their client care is practically worthless—good enough to use as toilet paper.

They also claim to have a large Liverpool office, but in reality, it's just a letterbox. The actual office is in Southport, allowing them to charge higher fee grades without providing the Liverpool office service and experience.

I have serious doubts about the authenticity of many of their positive reviews, as they come across as overly rehearsed. Furthermore, their membership with Info Solicitor has been removed, allegedly due to the removal of previous negative reviews.

It's baffling that they claim not to have heard from clients who complain while expecting you to pay an exorbitant £300 per hour for the Liverpool postbox service from a trainee or non-qualified person. Overall, my experience has left me deeply disappointed and cautious about their practices.
