Distance Learning
I thoroughly enjoyed the Understanding Climate Change and Environmental Awareness course via distance learning option with BTC. I felt like the tutor I was given knew the subject he was teaching and gave useful feedback and provided where I can improve when I didn't complete a question fully or correctly. I had a gap after the first two units, due to medical reasons, however, the distance learning team still let me continue the course and got me back in touch with my tutor and now it's completed. It's an NCFE course so it's a recognised qualificqtion rather than a customised one, and it will take around 16weeks for the certificate to arrive, which isn't bad as it was completely free and I'm sure that i waited around 12 weeks for my GCSE certificates from high school. So despite people's complaints on the waiting time on certificates, I personally believe that 16 weeks is reasonable. I haven't received mine yet, but I'm certain it will come.
