I ordered a fire extinguisher online, which stated it would be dispatched in 1/2 days. I waited a week and heard nothing, so I emailed, got no response, so emailed again, still no response, so I ended up phoning them. I was informed that the extinguisher was out of stock but it had come in that day and I should receive it in 2 days. 2 days went by and still no delivery. So rang again and was told they still weren’t in stock (so I was lied to in the first phone call! ) So I cancelled the order.
Diabolical customer service, no email s responded to, no updates. Will not use again!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I'm sorry to hear of the issues with your order. On looking into this it appears our internal system had an incorrect stock figure which showed the item in stock. As soon as this was identified you should have received an update and I am very sorry that this was not the case, this is not representative of our normal level of customer service.
We have checked our email system and can see you emailed us in the evening on Friday 24/03 which we replied to on Monday morning 27/03. We received a second email from you on Monday 27/03 and replied to you at around midday. I have asked our IT department to review why you have not received these emails.
Once again I'd like to apologise for the delay and communication issues you experienced.

I'm sorry to hear of the delays in receiving your order, I have checked the tracking details and this appears to have been held up by Evri. I have arranged for a replacement unit to be sent out with an alternative courier which is due for delivery today.
We use a selection of couriers to fulfil our orders to fit all budgets, cater for the wide selection of products we sell and dependant on the total order weight. Should you contact us before placing an order we have the option to send out orders with an alternative courier (DHL).

Cheaper than Ebay, delivered next day!
I have used this company twice now to buy smoke alarms and CO alarm.I only buy top brands in safety equipment (eg Kidde, Fire Angel), and they are cheaper here than the equivalent items on ebay or Amazon, and they are usually delivered quicker!

Beware of the 'Next Day Delivery' promise!
I fell for it and now the day after it was due to be delivered the parcel still hasn't been handed over to their carrier!
What makes this situation worse it they have chosen to ignore the email that I sent yesterday.

I have checked our warehouse records and can confirm that your parcel left our warehouse with Hermes on Monday 29/11 as scheduled. It appears the delay has occurred within Hermes sorting facilities, however I have checked the tracking details for your order and this is now showing as delivered.
Unfortunately our head offices have been experiencing major power outages since Tuesday and we have been unable to find the email you sent to us. I have tried to ring you about your order, but haven't yet been able to reach you.
