Buffalo Lake Lending is a predatory lender. I took out a $640 loan and ended up paying over $1,011 through six automatic debits. When I requested a hardship settlement or a Paid in Full resolution, they ignored me completely.

Eventually, they offered a $300 settlement — and I accepted it. I followed up and asked for written confirmation that they received my acceptance, and they have yet to respond.

They don’t answer emails, don’t honor their own offers, and have not replied to my CFPB or BBB complaints. This company preys on vulnerable consumers and hides behind technicalities to avoid accountability.

I’ve revoked their ACH access and will not send another dollar unless they respond in writing. I strongly caution others to stay away and report them to regulators if they’ve been mistreated. This experience has been exploitative and stressful.

Avoid them at all costs.

No matter how bad you need the money for the love of god do not go to these con artists. I was told if I paid my loan off early I wouldn’t accrue any of the interest that is way to high. I called to see how much is left on the loan. It was like I never made any payments. When I never missed a single payment. This place is horrible. Hopefully they will never get another customer. And the last thing is, they said the daily interest rate was in the contract when it never was they added it after there is a special place in hell for people like this.

They charge 700 percent approved me and had me sign a loan agreement for an amount then 30mins later changed the amount after it was signed then got mad cuz I said that was awful and withdrew my loan and didn't send the money. Terrible customer service. Legal robbery.

It’s so hard to get a hold of customer service or whatever you call them. They take too long to respond to emails and by then if you need to do any hardships etc Covid or whatever reasons you may have it is too late and it will put your account into overdraft. I called and customers service said I needed to send an email. I sent an email on a Thursday and have yet to hear a response and it is now Wednesday which mean they will take the money from account anyways and just apologize like the apology is going to help

I wish it had 0 stars. I have never encountered such an incompetent customer service team. One day one person tells me something and the next day they tell me what he said was totally incorrect. They do NO follow up so I do not think they are very interested in obtaining new customers or hanging on to the ones they have. I would definitely look elsewhere.
