Jonathan was quick to get in touch…

Jonathan was quick to get in touch following my enquiry and was quick to arrange the visit to the sellers house. The survey results were produced in an equally timely manner and gave us great peace of mind for our purchase. We would certainly consider Jonathan and his company for any future house purchases!

Jonathan did a great job

Jonathan did a great job for my level 2 service for the property I hope to buy. Prompt and polite communication when arranging the appointment, no long wait for the visit, and an unhurried detailed inspection when there. The survey was back within just a couple of days. He was knowledgeable and thorough when doing the survey and took time to explain the process. Would recommend!

Level 3 survey on a complicated house

Level 3 survey on a complicated house. Astounding service, very detailed report, stuck to his word about lead time which was around twice as fast as competitors and a very reasonable price without seemingly affecting the quality of the work and the detail. Very grateful for the insight and has enabled us to make a really informed decision about our purchase. Thank you

Excellent speedy service!

Contacted them and within 2 days the survey was completed to a really high standard. It was then written up and received the day after! Really helpful in the process of deciding which survey to go for and prompt with responses.

incompetent

This company is a joke, we have paid 420 pounds for a service that not only has not provided any value, but the value that it should have provided was not delivered, when you get a surveyor it's because you assume that he is a profesional and that he will look into any possible issue within the house. Our house was a new house, built in 2016 it was just 5 years old, at the beginning we were thinking, why to spend 500 pounds for a survey, the house it's pretty new, it's not worthy, but then we say, okay, let's go for peace of mind, they are professionals so they will look into the house with the professional eye. We received a report, a pdf file that was around 50 pages long with a bit of big letters, of those 50 pages 40 pages was useless repetitive information, writing that is either not related with the house or was generic phases, general considerations, as I was reading I was shocked, I was losing my time reading so much useless writing that had nothing to do with the house, everything that was real writing about the house it's about 10 pages, as started point this was something that it disappointed me. The report did not mention to be anything wrong with the house, it was good news, the house was in good condition, and I though okay, I have paid for a report for a house that it's almost new, and I haven't got any value, fine, but the big shock came when later we found 2 wrong things with the house that you don't need to be "an expert", "a surveyor" to spot them, AND THE REPORT DID NOT MENTIONED ANY OF THESE, I was furious, I paid for a report of 50 useless pages for a new house whose work of surveying it should be pretty easy and nuance issues as simple to spot this man Jonathan Higginton did not spotted, I was furious, disappointed, I paid for a report for a "professional surveyor" and this is actually the kind of things that he should have been able to spot, this is his job, so not only it was useless but the job that he should have delivered he didn't delivered. The first thing was a stain in the master bedroom, the kind of stain in the ceiling that appears for a water licking, we have seen this 1 week before we did the completion of the house, I called him this man Jonathan Higginton, I explained the situation, notice, this is his job, this is the kind of things he should have seen, I called him, he was the most disengage, not open to help, his answers were very simple, as dry and empty as the report he had writing, rather than having a attitude of I will help you Luis, let's see what we can do, let's have look into this specially now that the completion was due in a few weeks, "I am full of appointments, I can't go there". Total frustrating experience, very incompetente surveyor, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEOPLE

After I contact them complaining they decline to take any responsibility, just in line to this irresponsible attitude. I will look into escalating the issue

This customer commissioned a Level 2 Survey, which is the least detailed and least costly of the services we offer. It is produced in accordance with RICS guidance and follows a set template, as designed by RICS. It only reports matters considered by the surveyor to be "urgent" (needing immediate attention) or "significant" (affecting the value of the property). The mark on the decor in this particular property was not considered by the surveyor to meet these criteria and it was not reported. The report was produced by an RICS chartered residential property surveyor, with 25 years experience. Please see our Google reviews for a more balanced view of our service.
