I have a Citizen EchoDrive Titanium and a Bulova Precisionist 97B110 watches. Both are good product but the customer care service at Bulova Canada is bad….I’ve been waiting for a simple answer since November 22 2023, using the customer care email. The only reply received yet is that they would respond in two business days…I also left a post on Bulova.com Facebook…No reply as well….Bad customer care experience so far…Not impress

Really disappointed with Bulova watch…

Really disappointed with Bulova watch brand . Despite a 3 year guarantee company refused to honour the guarantee after the stem fell off just after a year . The watch was a present to my wife and only subject to light use . Fortunately the Jeweller F.hinds have been very helpful and offered to repair the watch .
Bulova 3 year guarantee is worthless in my opinion . There decision appears to be arbitrary and no readdress .Buyer beware if you purchase this brand which appears to be going backwards in terms of customer care .

The worst customer service!

My beautiful watch stopped keeping correct time shortly after purchase. I mailed watch in for service/ warranty work. Tracking shows that watch was received 21 days ago, yet NOBODY has made any contact with me to verify that, nor have they responded to any emails, etc. I'm beginning to think I may never see my watch again. I'm so let down. This was a gift to myself that took me months to pay off. NEVER AGAIN! ( And I will certainly share my bad experience with others.)

Load of old Bulova

Well I certainly should have checked out these reviews before purchasing my Bulova automatic watch. Though I regularly wore it, it lost time and being a kinetic movement this shouldn't happen. Not impressed having being told it would take six weeks but ending up waiting 3 months for it to be repaired. I asked if they were going to extend the warranty being I hadn't had the watch for 3 months, not a hope! Now the warranty has ran out I've now got another problem with the fancy wrist strap catch occasionally opening up, very annoying. Having previously given up on my trusted Seiko kinetic watch after 15+ years (only because of the broken wrist strap) I've decided to pay and get it fully refurbished and bin the crap Bulova. They may be good at designing good looking watches but that's were it ends

BULOVA, great watches until you have to service it...

I own two bulova watches.
One is good looking but is just kinda meh..messed...
The other is a precisionist dive watch that I absolutely love. Well until the battery died. It was still under warranty so I sent it directly to bulova.
It literally took 3 months for them to even acknowledge that they had recieved it. I just got off the phone to pay them for the worst customer service ever. Oh and a battery, total: 80 bucks. Not to mention, two additional weeks to repair it. I have a Tissot, and that's the entire time it took to fix it, including the shipping to and fro.
I really like bulova, but this is completely over the top bad business.

I just bought a $480 Bulova watch today…

I just bought a $480 Bulova watch today and the seconds hand is way off. Tried setting it many times and won't set. I had a $110 Nixon watch for 10 years and never had a problem. This is super embarrassing and makes me regret buying your brand. What a waste of money. This was birthday present. Happy fing birthday.

How the Mighty Have Fallen!

I have two Bulova Accutrons from the 1960’s when the brand was a leader in innovation. Modern Bulova watches are just rubbish. Most have a mineral glass crystal and a cheap Miyota 8215 movement. They are just expensive junk and it’s sad to see a brand fall so low.

Watch is garbage

Watch is garbage. Amazon would not do anything about it and basically told me Iam on my own. Not a cheap watch. But as Amazon does, they don’t help. I know it’s over a month but I bout it from Amazon not a third party. Bulova would not help. They said they fixed it twice. It still doesn’t work. DONT BUY BULOVA.

Nightmare !!!!

I literally got rid of my Bulova watch because of the horrific wait times to get a Bulova customer service rep on the phone. Too cheap to hire enough people I guess. NO CALL BACK feature either as most legit companies have. The service overall is rotton. Bought a Seiko and the watch is great and I get a rep within 2 minutes each time I have called.

I brought a bulova watch about 10 years…

I brought a bulova watch about 10 years ago & paid like $1000 for so I aways though you can get a watch like this repaird, I messaged bulova & they can't buff out screen change my battery or replace stones on the strap, I also get find a single person in this world that would touch it. Bulova is a complete waste of money, they should be able to fix old watches not just watches that are a couple years old, you might aswell just throw your old bulova in the bin once it stops working, but top brands can get parts for life

WARNING - Do not buy a watch from this company

Do not buy a watch from this company unless you want to be forking out £40 every time you need to replace a battery that is only guaranteed for 12 months.
The Bulova watch I purchased 18 months ago stopped working so I returned to the shop who informed me that the watch had to be returned to Bulova to replace the battery. The battery they fit has a life expectancy of up to 2 years maximum. Don't be conned by this manufacturer. As well as the extortionate charge they take between 6 and 8 weeks to return the watch.

Bulova/Citizen Watch Company Bait & Switch

I bought a nice and rather expensive Bulova watch on a Transatlantic crossing on the Queen Mary 2. Great watch. But the watch band broke. I mailed the watch to Bulova/Citizen Watch repair. They held my watch for at least 7 months. Each time I contacted them, they said they were on back order for the correct band replacement. After 7 months, I received notice from the company that they no longer carry a band replacement for my fine watch. Instead, they offered me a mere credit of $250 toward a new Bulova watch. However, I had to give them my $500 watch in exchange for the $250 credit. Is this fair business practice? I think not. They should have been able to replace band on my watch, which was only 4-5 years old. To me this is bait & switch and a disgrace from the Citizen Watch Company. Shame on them. I will be writing additional negative reviews on other websites because I think the company was cheating me.

Sent my watch in Dec 2019 for repair

Sent my watch in Dec 2019 for repair: Broken crystal and battery had stopped 3 years after purchase. Originally the battery stopped and I brought it into a local watch repair service in town to change out the battery for me. When he got the back off, he could NOT get it back on. I found out online that Citizen style watches purposely do this so that you must send them back to the manufacturer. However, some sites do instruct a way to get the back on yourself...which failed miserably resulting in a broken crystal. So, I sent in my watch for a new battery, crystal, and to have the back put on. Those were the only issues with my watch. Then pandemic hit in 2020, and I knew it would take awhile to repair and send back. Totally understandable. Repair was under $100 and fair. My watch was sent back May 2021. Everything was repaired, except the band of my watch was cut clean in half! Not broken, actually looks like someone snipped it with scissors. It was not damaged when I sent it in and the notes regarding the inspection when it was received by Citizen didn't state the damage. It stated the band being cut in the 6 o'clock position (which was from me cutting off the excess end of the band to accommodate my tiny wrist). The part of the band that was snipped in half was done at the 12 o'clock portion of the band where the buckle was. Called and spoke to service, and they guy was extremely lackluster in his customer service skills and said my watch could not have possibly been cut at their location. I told him if the watchband needed repair at time of sending it in, I certainly would have noted that on my repair instructions. They sent my watch back well packaged in a box with no damage. They finally said they needed to see the watch to survey the damage and I needed to send the WHOLE WATCH back to them in the mail! They said they couldn't just have me send back the watch band only or even better email or text them a photo of the watch with the damaged band. They didn't apologize and the guy sounded totally bored on the phone. Told him I didn't want to send my watch back in to them if it came back with a damaged band to begin with. I don't recommend this company, especially if you need to send the watch to them for repairs. I recommend Etsy or privately owned company if you wish to purchase a watch instead.

This Bulova watch that I got has been…

This Bulova watch that I got has been sent 3 times to the repair center in 2 year and this time again when I sent it, it was sent back to me with a letter saying that the warrant has expired and I need to get in touch with the menufacturer . I have written to them and its been more then 2 weeks now that I am still waiting to hear from them. I am really disappointed because this was a gift from my husband I have hardly used it literally 4 to 5 times and it has stopped working equal to the time I have used it . I am really upset and tired also and really dont know what to do as no help has been extended at all from anywhere. 98R209 is I guess the model number and that is what is written on the dial.

BULOVA=Bad quality no guarantee

I bought a Bulova Curv 9 months ago. After 8 months the wristband was broken by the connection with the watch. Contacted Bulova, no guarantee and not possible to repair. 800 euro gone. VERY BAD
Be careful if you consider to buy a watch from this brand.

The bulova’s watch box is now bad…

The bulova’s watch box is now bad quality. Im a bulova lover since many years ago, and the experience to open the box for first time was exiting, but now the box looks like a common box watch, in addition you are spending $200-$500 dollar for a good watch and good presentation.
