Dishonest staff, incompetent management.
In general, my son and I enjoyed our visit to the park and there is plenty to do there. Entry price is a little steep, but fairly standard for 'Rip-off Ireland.' However, the train ride was a major disappointment. We were told by the driver that the next ride would be in 20 minutes. We waited for 45 minutes before he returned. Without acknowledging his lie and without apology for the delay, he then proceeded to wait a further 5 minutes with a train full of already disgruntled passengers. The ride itself was only a few minutes long and so would have been a disappointment in any case.
A management with any degree of foresight (let alone oversight) would provide a timetable for visitors, to avoid this issue, but no such timetable is provided.
A nice visit spoiled unnecessarily, by a lack of integrity from the driver and a lack of foresight and competence by management.
