Problems with MAC

Both the downloader and the optimizer spreadsheets have problems with Excel for MAC.

The downloader tilts and the Optimizer have errors that are shown when you open the file.

Thank you very much for this feedback. We have since tested with latest updates for Excel 2016 on the Mac and made some modifications. The portfolio optimization ran without any issues and so recommend to first save as XSLM before running. The data download tool has been updated and can be downloaded from the product page at http://www.business-spreadsheets.com/portopt.htm. We did notice some freezing in some cases and so recommend to download 5 security ticker at a time and save the file first as XLSM. If you continue to have issues you can contact us using the Contact menu option on the site and we can address issues according to your configurations.
