I had very bad experience with Busy Bees Oadby. My son was there last year for one year.
Major issues everybody should know-
1. They don’t have any permanent staff. Once in month, you will see 2-3 new staffs as old staff quitting
2. My son has communication barriers. Instead to helping him , he was left alone. Even after few meetings with Natasha ( director ) , no step was taken to focus on his speaking or listening.
3. I changed the nursery ( Bertie’s ) and I saw massive improvement in my son communication skills. He was involved in all activities , not like in busy bees where he was left alone.
4. We struggle to get their feedback about our son behaviour as staff keep changing and they didn’t have enough time with him to give any feedback.
5. There were absolutely no one to one parents meetings. When I did request few times , I was told they are heavily under staffed and as soon as they have enough staff, they will do but that day never come
6. As NHS provide support to kids with communication barriers called early intervention, we heard from NHS early years support team that Busy Bees never answered their emails or call as they needs lots of information about my son behaviour directly from Nursery.
In nutshell , if you want to leave the kids ( just want ti dump them for few hours a day ), Busy Bees is best choice but if you want kids develop their cognitive skills and other developments , BUSY BEES SHOULD NOT BE YOUR CHOICE AT ALL.
Very disappointed and angry

My son absolutely loves attending Busy Bee Nursery! The staff are so caring, patient, and genuinely invested in every child’s development. I’ve seen such a big improvement in his confidence, speech, and social skills since joining. Every day he comes home happy and full of stories about what he learned and the fun activities they’ve done.
The nursery has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and I really appreciate how well they communicate with parents — always keeping us updated on progress and daily routines. It’s clear the team puts a lot of love and effort into everything they do.
I couldn’t ask for a better place for my little one. Thank you, Busy Bee Nursery, for creating such a nurturing and joyful environment! 🐝💛
Thank you girls 💕

I have built a lovely rapport with the team and I couldn’t be happier with her in their care. I trust them implicitly. I love the new app and updates, and I’m writing this with a big THANK YOU to all the ladies there. I wouldn’t change a thing!

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Busybees, Oadby and I can’t speak highly enough about the care and attention my children received there. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like part of a family. All of the carers are warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, always making sure my children’s needs were met with kindness and patience.
The office staff is equally welcoming—always greeting us with a smile and offering help whenever needed. Their professionalism and friendly attitude really stood out, creating an environment where I felt completely comfortable leaving my children each day.
What I really appreciated was the transparent, family-like atmosphere. I was always allowed to get in to the children's rooms to pick up/drop off my children in a secure and reassuring way. This openness gave me peace of mind knowing my children was in a safe and nurturing environment.
The nursery itself feels like a home away from home. The staff works seamlessly together, creating a warm, supportive space that encourages learning and growth. It truly feels like a family, and it was clear to me that each child is treated with love and respect.
One area that could enhance the overall experience is increasing the number of staff members. There were fewer staff than needed, which understandably put extra pressure on the team.
I highly recommend to any parent looking for a caring, secure, and welcoming environment for their child. It’s been a wonderful experience, and I’m so grateful for the amazing care they provide.
This nursery has been a breath of fresh air, we had such an easy setting on progress and our daughter gets so much variety of activities that it's beautiful to see everything she does every day!
Couldn't ask for more caring staff !
