Our Burgundy bespoke bike trip was amazing. The guides, food, wine and curated experiences were all exceptional!

B&R is wonderful

Our recent walking/cycling trip to Cornwall with B&R was a wonderful experience. We were lucky enough to have good weather so that we could do all our planned activities. The walks along both the northern and southern coasts had different but gorgeous scenery. Biking the Camel trail was fun and beautiful. The fresh seafood everywhere was as good as it gets! We credit our guide, Tatty, and our trip planner, Lucy, with making this an unforgettable trip. We shared many laughs and stories with Tatty and felt she really helped make this a special vacation!

The guides were amazing! The group on the trip all got along so well. The biking in the Netherlands and Belgium was beautiful, we learned so much about the history of the area.

We have just returned from biking in Sri Lanka which was a special edition trip. If I could give the trip 6 stars I would, everything about it was exceptional. The level of organisation and support was fantastic, the guides were second to none and they were very good with me as I’m not much of a biker. The grade of level 2 was spot on. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with beautiful people and biking is an incredible way of seeing it.

B&R planned a spectacular trip for us. We fell in love with Costa Rica. They planned an exquisite itinerary, great lodgings, terrific activities. The guides were excellent and all transfers went smoothly. All contacts with B&R were friendly, positive and helpful. I highly recommend using this travel company!!!!

We had a bespoke experience in Florence…this is our 4 th time there. Had a beautiful apartment and our guides were just amazing.

This was our third trip with B&R. Each of the trips have been memorable in unique ways. We have done Italy lakes and Amalfi coast. This trip through the Burgundy wine region was wonderful. B&R sets the standards for hotels and restaurants. They choose places that my husband and I would stay on our own. And restaurants that we would find as well. Every day is carefully curated and well planned. We loved every minute of our trip. The best part, however, are the guides. B&R values their guides and it is evident. Many have worked for the company for years. This time, we had Denis and Tom(with Fanny doing the driving). Denis and Tom are true professionals. Engaging, knowledgeable, caring, and curious. Kudos to B&R for running such a terrific travel company. We will always be trying to plan another trip with them!

Butterfield & Robinson is the definition of a classy operation. Their trips are fully planned to cover everything from transfers, hotels, luggage movement & security, special events and most meals. But their best attribute is their people. They hire only the most knowledgable, friendly and motivated guides who take care of everything and feel like family while doing it.

We have been on a number of B&R trips and they consistently hires outstanding guides. Lottie, Stephen and Bel were helpful, informative and highly service oriented. The walking tour of the Cotswolds was pastoral and beautiful It was well organized with excellent hotels. The food was a cut above what we might have expected as well.

Epic in large part because of the country (Japan), the cycling routes (variety (beaches to mountains), beautiful scenery, mixed terrain, mostly quiet roads, good distances covered with nice climbs), the guides (knowledgeable, capable, friendly, professional... exemplary), and the planned cultural activities including locals, lodging and meals - standout was the mountain picnic cycling stop with custom made bento box lunches for each cyclist.

Our guides, Luca and Rachela, really made the experience even that much better.

Great guides, bikes and accommodations!

The logistics were great from the transportation, dinner reservations and the GPS for our hikes. The drivers, guides and the hotels were wonderful.

Our bespoke hiking trip through Burgundy was perhaps the best trip our group of lifelong friends has experienced. Our guides were knowledgeable about Burgundian history and wines, and were a joy to spend time with. Each day was filled with delicious food, wine, and scenery as we hiked from village to village. Our accommodations were exceptional and provided the perfect ending to our special days.

Everything was excellent - accommodations, food, communication, explanations, and especially our guides Niki and Luis. This experience exceeded my expectations!
