I needed some assistance in purchasing the correct brake pads for my 2016 BMW 340i due to there being so many options for my vehicle depending on trim levels. I spoke with an individual named John and received the best customer service someone can provide. He was very thorough in making sure he got me the correct pads. He explained everything with extreme detail in regard to pros and cons and comparisons between products. He also answered all my questions in full detail leaving me with no doubt with my decision. If you’re having trouble finding a part or have questions I would call the company and request John. He will ensure all your questions are answered and choose what is right for you and help you place your order as well. Company offers a ton of options and brands in regards to brake products I would give them 5/5 stars on product options as well as 5/5 stars in regard to customer service. Another great perk is this company offers first responder discounts. Thanks a lot John

Poor Customer service. Selected make, model, year on website. However the brake pads I received did not fit the OEM as their website is not program to be aware that the S-line model (has a different brake configuration). since it is over 30 days they would not accept my return.
-Additionally their website says 4.8 stars however i could not leave a review on their website nor was their a link to do so in my order confirmation.

First off I just want to say, I'm not a person that likes to bad mouth anybody. But I don't like being played like a fool. I had a pin stick on my front drives side and ate the rotor. So I found this company on line and said they were veteran owned.
And I like to help my brothers and sisters so I called. I spoke with John who was very knowledgeable and he asked me were I lived so I would buy the right ones for the atmosphere for corrosion. So he talked me into buying Dynamic Friction and told me they were zinc coated. Now mind you I'm replacing power stop zinc coated rotors that have been on my car for 4 years. Ordered on July 20th 2023 and it's October 19th 2023 and they are rusted worse than the back ones that have been on my car for 4 years.
So I called and got someone on the phone and explained everything to him. He gave me the part numbers. Then all of a sudden couldn't hear me and said to me. He was hanging up to call back. So I did right away. Wouldn't you know I couldn't get anyone. So I kept calling and finally someone answered. Had to explain everything again and wait on the phone forever.
Only to tell me she couldn't find John and the coating isn't covered. If I would have known their customer service was like this I never would have done business with them.
I work hard for my money. And it's sad that a veteran owned company would treat people that put great faith in them this way.
Sad to say but I will never do business with them again unless this is rectified.

Please do yourself a favor and read the fine print for returns. 20% restocking fee and customer is responsible for shipping cost on returns. Return process is lengthy and complicated. Will not be using this site again.

Ordered on the 25th and item was in stock. Still no shipping called on the 2nd "we'll call you back. The 5th again "we'll call you back, 6th we'll call you back and miraculously it got labeled that night, sent out next day and maybe I'll see it on the 12th

Worst Customer Service, I have ever experienced. I could not recommend these guys ever unfortunately. Hassled me over not Specifying the vehicle in which the parts were for which is none of their business honestly. Then continued Delaying the order past the shipping time, in response to not telling them what they were for. Do not Order from these Thieves. They wont issue a refund after you have cancelled your order either!

To whom it may concern; Buy a set of discs with pads. The pads bring pin to keep the pads separate from the disc. When I go to install the pins,,,, the pads do not have the holes to put them,,, also the pads in just two days were full of black carbon. I got rid of the pads and tried to find a solution by sending several emails to the seller and they tell me they can't do anything. That's not good service,,, think about it if you're going to shop at buybrakes.com

How do you know all teh positive reviews are fake? Because they say they talked to someone and they never answer their phone. No, John will never follow up with you or anyone.

They ship whenever they want and outright lie to you. They say process in one day and state ship dates when they don't adhere anything close to those dates.

Then you can call and wait 15-20 min just to get a recording.

So John sees teh bad review and answers and all he has is excuse after excuse after excuse. Problem is I didnt just call on Friday.

NO, you didnt ship on teh day I ORDERED YOU CREATED A LABEL. UPS confirms it wasn't actually shipped till days later.

All this Company had to do was own their mistake and apologize but it comes here direct from there owner who has sent me 3page texts blaming riots and fires for shipping delays??? WHAT?

Its easy you creat a label to make it look like you are shipping on time but don't. You post on your site teh days I will receive my package and didnt even ship till that day. Actually according to your site if I ordered on the day I called it would be at my home Faster than ordering days earlier so YOUR SITE IS WRONG.

Then he lies and says they did send shipping email when they didnt till 1 minute after I called.

In all fairness they did finally answer the phone AFTER 3 20 minute calls of being on hold but wait she hung up on me!!!

Could you imagine teh owner of a Co taking the time to text and have zero info on the issue and just make things up? How about I AM SORRY WE SCREWED UP AND LET ME TRY AND MNAKE IT RIGHT??????

The customer service by John was unmatched by any company that I have ever used online before. I never submit reviews but he and buybrakes.com are top notch and I’m willing to take the 5 minutes to submit this review.
I attempted to call customer service to ask a question about my recent purchase, however before they could answer I was able to figure out a solution to my problem on my own. Even though I was unable to speak with somebody, John was willing to follow up with a text making sure that I no longer needed assistance and offered help along with his personal extension, links to their site, and resources of where I could get it further assistance. 11/10, I will recommend this company to anyone!

I’ve been using buybrakes.com for years now on all my sports cars and when I tell you it has always been the best experience and Adam has always been there to help me out throughout all the years always giving me the best experience and knowledge to get me the right stuff and always being the most respectful person making me feel more as a friend then just a customer. I have never shopped on any other car parts site or most places in general that makes buying anything as easy as Adam does and I will continue to be a returning customer for years to come and so has all my friends and people I’ve met also using the site by far the best and no one can compete. If you need any help ask for Adam he is the best.

I was looking at brake kits for my “Big Turbo” F150 Ecoboost from a few different manufacturers, the typical cross-drilled and slotted stuff you see in online catalogs like American Truck, Jegs, etc…this is a 4x4 truck that weighs 6,000 lbs and does a 13 second 1/4 mile.…John educated me on more than I knew as a mechanic of 30 years, and the owner of 47 modified cars in my lifetime.

My boss took a look at your site and couldn’t believe he’d never come across it; idk how we’ve missed it before! We’ll definitely be calling you in the future for the high end brake conversions and repairs that we get about 1-2x/month. We’ve done an Audi s8 v10, a 10- second BMW M6 , a C63 AMG, and an 85 Jaguar xj6 with a supercharged SBC conversion in the last year, and all we knew to do was go with Wilwood and Brembo….I can tell anyone reading this that there’s better options here for less coin.

I personally put a sticker on my windshield of every company I’ve had great experience with….you have one you can throw in the box for me to put on my truck?

I am upgrading my review, because of the customer service I received. I am wanting to get away from using Amazon, because it seems to be a storefront for China...at least to me. Anyway, I placed an order on Feb 22nd for 2 brake kits that were noted as "in-stock". The status never changed and stated "Getting Ready to Ship. On 2-27, I called the 702 number and after about 5 minutes on hold, to my excitement, a customer service rep answered. She was very polite, but said the order had no tracking number yet, and she would check with the "processing department". I asked when to expect a return call or text, and she said within 1 business day. My order was promptly shipped after speaking with them. Part of my initial negative feedback was due to me contacting them outside of business hours, so It was not proper for me to be upset about that. I feel the website and ordering experience was great; however, I feel the processing and shipping needs improvement, but they were customer oriented, which makes all the difference.

I ordered brake pads for my BMW M235i and huge to Adam Hume from sales for helping me to choose the right pads. Initially I ordered the wrong pads, but he noticed it and reached out to help with the order. Great service and awesome prices!

I spoke with John on the phone and he verified the items I ordered were the correct parts before placing the order, He was very knowledgeable about parts and specifications. Thank you John!

Order a rotor and pad set. Got charged and got an email confirming order. 2 days pass and no email update or anything updated online about shipping or tracking. Even though the estimated delivery time was on their site as the 10th. I call on the 9th to follow up. They said everything is in stock and would check why it hasn’t been shipped. The rep said I would get a call back that day with an update. 2 more days go buy .. no call no email no nothing. I call back in on the 11th to be told that some of the pads are now out of stock. They offered to substitute a 40$ pad in place of the 90$ pads. Then I could wait 7 more days to receive something that was told to me to be coming tomorrow. I expressed the urgency to them on the first call how the car wasn't word worth until the parts were received. This didn’t concern them they never not once updated me or told me they were out of stock, until I called in to check for myself mean while my wife has no car due to this delay. I would not at all recommend this place. Bad communication and lies.
