We’re sorry to read this review, but we would like to clarify the situation.

The event was rescheduled from 2 August 2025 to 1 August 2026. All ticket holders were contacted once the new date was confirmed and advised of the refund policy. Original tickets remained valid for the rescheduled event, so there was no requirement to purchase a new ticket.

We have also checked our correspondence and cannot locate any email from you requesting assistance or a refund. Had you contacted us, we would have been able to confirm that your original ticket was still valid.

Please contact us directly with your original order details so we can investigate why the website appeared to show otherwise and help resolve the matter.

Hi Alistair,

We’re sorry that you remain unhappy, but this review does not accurately reflect the attempts made to resolve your complaint.

When the issue with the original seating arose, you were offered alternative seats. Although these were within a differently named seating band due to their location in the venue, they were sold at the same price point as your original tickets. When you confirmed that you were unhappy with the alternative seats, we offered you a full refund.

You chose not to accept the refund offered directly by us, attended the event and then raised a dispute with your card provider, through which the payment was subsequently returned. You have therefore received a full refund.

We appreciate that the alternative seating was not satisfactory to you, but we do not accept the suggestion that we refused to resolve the matter or would not provide a refund. Both replacement seats and a full refund were offered before the payment dispute was raised.

Hi John,

We’re sorry to see this review, but we would like to clarify that you were not ignored.

You were advised that we could refund the difference in ticket value and were asked to provide your UK bank details so the payment could be processed. We have not received the requested details, so we have been unable to issue the payment.

Please reply to our previous correspondence with the requested bank details and we will arrange the refund of the difference.

Hi Michael,

We’re sorry to hear that you did not receive the event update.

All ticket holders were emailed using the address provided with their booking and advised that the event had been cancelled. Occasionally these messages can be filtered into spam or junk folders, but we appreciate how frustrating it is when an important update is missed.

We’re also sorry that you experienced an issue with the online contact form. Please email us directly with your order number and the email address used to purchase the tickets so we can locate your booking, check the correspondence sent and resolve this for you.

Thanks for your review Rob.

Sad to hear your experience but as all ticket outlets, we cannot refund a ticket after the show date has taken place as per our sales policy. From your purchase date until the show date if you contacted us we could re-issue your ticket should you need but after the event has taken place we have no control over your ticket being used on the event date.

Sad to hear you weren't happy with your experience but we directly sell tickets on behalf of venues and ticket promoters as per our sales policy, certainly not a scam.

Whenever we’re informed by an event promoter that a show has been cancelled or postponed, we immediately notify our customers. As soon as we receive updated information or new dates, we send another update.

Tickets are automatically emailed immediately after purchase, and our records show that your ticket was successfully sent and later resent to the email address provided with the booking. Unfortunately, ticket emails can occasionally be filtered into spam or junk folders, or blocked by an email provider.

We’re also sorry that you felt unable to reach us. Had we been made aware before the event, we would have been happy to confirm the booking and resend the ticket again to ensure you could attend.

Hi,

We’re sorry that you experienced difficulty locating your ticket, particularly when travelling from Northern Ireland for the event.

However, our records show that your e-ticket was issued automatically to the email address provided at the time of booking and was subsequently resent. We therefore do not believe it is accurate to suggest that no ticket was supplied.

Unfortunately, automated ticket emails can occasionally be filtered into spam or junk folders, or blocked by an email provider. Your original ticket remained valid for entry, so there should not have been any need to purchase a second ticket.

We appreciate how frustrating the situation must have been, but BuyTkts did issue and resend the valid ticket connected to your order.

We take allegations of this nature seriously, but we do not accept the claim that this order was a scam.

Our records show that the £75 worth of tickets purchased were issued to the email address provided with the booking. The tickets were valid for the event and the order was successfully processed.

BuyTkts is a legitimate ticketing business, and customer support is available through our published online contact channels.

Please contact us with your order number and booking email address so we can confirm when the tickets were issued and investigate any correspondence you believe went unanswered.

Thank you for taking the time to review Claire. Sadly as per our ticket terms which all customers agree to prior to purchase we're not able to change the date of tickets incorrectly purchased. This is clearly laid out on our website and in the terms prior to purchase and we're sorry you purchased tickets to the wrong date. We hope you have a better experience in future!
