Worst experiences😡😡😡

All I have to say is if you want to waste your money than definitely you can go and stay at best western seven seas in San Diego 411 hotel circle south and they definitely will help you ruin your special day.😡 It was my husband’s 50th birthday and we decided to go to San Diego as a family to celebrate. One of the worst places to stay. I made my reservation to this hotel on Friday 26th for 2 days and asked if I can check early. I was told to call Friday morning the day of my reservation. So I called and was told early check in was not until 2:30 pm. I decided to go to the hotel to freshen up. Upon arrival I noticed there was no bathroom in the lobby I was directed to go to the restaurant bathroom. While me and my daughter were freshening up my husband decided to wait for us in the waiting area and he noticed 3 guest who had already had stayed the night before came in the front desk request to switch their rooms because of location or if they were near the pool it was very noisy. Instantly they were switched to their new room and keys were given right that moment😱. When my husband question that we were told there was no rooms, they said well they have checked in the last night so we can’t say no to them. When we asked to speak to a manager they said he was not going to be in till 2:30pm, Cathy Williams came out to talk to us and “ According to her who is Best western Government /Corporate Sales Manager there have been guest coming in since 1980’s and if there were guest coming to best western from that long than they are priority so best western has the right to cancel reservation to give it to their long term guest.😡 When we agreed to check in later Cathy calls us within 15 minutes and informs us that our room was ready and I have a government rate. So she ask me what type of government job I did I told her I was a teacher when I made reservation they asked me if I was a government employee and that I was a teacher, the reservation department gave me the government rate. Cathy than mention well we don’t see teachers as government employees but thank you for serving our kids. Cathy said “ I was going to offer you breakfast but since you are not a government employee I am not going to offer it to you.😡 To begin with we never asked for meals to be included in our package so why insult us that way. So we went back to check in at 5:30 pm and we requested to talk to the manager Steve Gee. They refused to let us talk to him and said he was out on the property. And up till today its been 7 days already we never received any calls from him yet. Upon arrival they didn’t tell me how much they were charging my card. We arrived at the room and notice that there were two-queen bed only, and when I made reservation I asked for 2 queen beds with a sofa bed or a roll away bed, reservation told me I could request it when you get to the property. This place is really old we old furniture .Parking lot was very dirty. We called the front desk to request the roll an away bed; they refused to give it to us and asked if I wanted to cancel my reservation according to Cathy. When they refuse to give me the roll away beds. I went to the office and Cathy insisted that we should cancel our reservation, I asked Cathy to give me 30 minutes she said I can give you 5 minutes as I was wasting her time and “according to Cathy she can sell that room for $400 and more and there are guest coming. Finally we cancelled our reservation but they didn’t release our money right away. They said we have charged your card $405 plus dollars and we cannot release the money right away. Luckily my daughter found a place 30 minutes away and we ended up checking in Radisson Hotel San Diego Rancho Bernardo 11520 West Bernardo Ct CA 92127 Ph. 858-451-6600. They saved us. Great customer service with breakfast included. Rooms were very clean Management was very understanding. Will give them a 5 star. And I will definitely recommend people to go here. Its very peace and quite.
