Booked a repeat taxi for every Thursday to take to a regular appointment as I am no longer able to drive. This was my one trip out per week and they didn’t turn up. I called several times without anyone answering. When it eventually got answered it was a driver who had no availability. What a waste of time they are.
Called up to make a booking for a later date, took 5 attempts to get through, finally the person who sounded like they were in a pub answered the phone and I was told to download their app, I did this and later on ordered a taxi which didn’t arrive, I tried to call the company back but this time no one answered and I ended up booking with a company called Veezu who were quick to arrive. Just be warned you may not be able to get through to anyone and whilst their app was easy to use, there didn’t seem to be any cars on their.
I arranged 6 taxi bookings for 12 people for a special occasion (3 to and 3 from a restaurant) This was arranged a month in advance and I received confirmation emails from Cabbys. I also checked with them both 4 days and 1/2 hr before to ensure they were coming. On the outgoing trip only 2 taxis arrived on time. The 3rd taxi was 25 mins late and was arranged by one of the taxi drivers. On the return trip only one taxi arrived. Apparently there was a 'mess up' and the other 2 had been reassigned to other trips. 8 young girls were left stranded at the restaurant and had to walk to a train station to get taxis. Cabbys were not responding to any phone calls.
Wonderful company that saved my marriage quite literally, booked with Veezu who never turned up to take me to the church, thankfully Adam was very friendly on the phone and managed to get his wonderful driver Jacob to pick me up and get me there just minute before my now wife turned up!
Great to see a new business operating in the area, by far much better than some of the others
Great service, I've been fortunate to be one of the 1st to try out Cabbys & I must say they are definately the best in the area, keep up the good work and I look forward to having many more journeys with you guys in the future!
