ŠKODA excellent service!
We recently came along to ŠKODA looking for a new car and immediately felt so welcome. We were offered a drink and the team were very personable and helped find us the perfect car for our family. Jack has been wonderful every time we have been to the dealership to facilitate the process of picking up the car and we would highly recommend visiting ŠKODA and would purchase a car from them again in the future.

Excellent Customer Service Still exists
I had an issue with my new car which was no fault of Caffyns Ashford MG but it was something i could not live with. Ken Ferguson contacted me and we had a very positive conversation of how best to move forwards. I am now waiting to collect a brand new HS Trophy DCT in Red and i am over the moon. This is all down to Ken's patients and understanding and excellent customer service, Thank you Ken

Utterly unscrupulous and incompetent
I’m not someone that usually shares my experience when it has been so negative because I tend to consider the human beings involved in the situation and think about how difficult life can be for us all. That said having received the worst experience in my life with regard to purchasing and trying to rectify an ongoing fault with the vehicle I purchased from Caffyns Eastbourne I am strongly compelled to overlook that, I can only conclude that these people have no human qualities whatsoever. Most of us would think that by approaching a main dealership that we might be treated with respect and courtesy and that we could trust the word of the salesman and the service technicians who represent such organisations. Volvo should really think carefully about continuing to support this group as I can’t see that they represent the values of the manufacturer at all.
I purchased a used Volvo XC90 T8 (2019) in June 2024 from Siraj Choudry and having identified the vehicle and test driven it I noticed a small vibration coming from the steering wheel at higher speeds. I mentioned this and said that without resolution of this issue that I wouldn’t purchase the car. I was promised this was easily dealt with and would be rectified by the time I came to collect the car. I was even told when collecting the car that it had been inspected and was fully resolved. Within the first 200 yards I found that same vibration coming through the steering wheel again. I notified the dealership and they advised me to take it to Volvo Worthing as they were closer to me for further inspection. Having left the car with Volvo Worthing I was told that the front near side wheel had a flat spot and that they would replace the wheel with a new one. How this was missed in the original check of the vehicle or the subsequent assessment of the vibration that I highlighted is anyone’s guess! I duly collected the car and found that once again the vibration was still present and I once again made contact with Volvo Eastbourne and was told that I needed to take it to them for further inspection by a master technician. I duly accepted this request and took the car back. I was told this time that when the wheel was replaced that it wasn’t balanced properly by Volvo Worthing and that this was a quick fix. As you can probably imagine I was starting to get a bit worried at this point that there wasn’t much effort at all going into the exploration of this fault and the full and thorough rectification of it. I mean even the least qualified tyre technician knows to balance the wheels on a car! The wheel was apparently balanced and I was reunited with the car again. Now please try to imagine that I am hopefully optimistic at this point that things have been sorted and I can safely drive the car on dual carriageways and motorways without feeling like I am driving on cobblestones. Unfortunately to my huge frustration once again the vibration returned within a few hundred yards of driving home and I began to wonder whether the master technician had really driven the car at all or was he too busy with more important work to ensure my vehicle was working properly. I once again notified Volvo Eastbourne and was told that I should bring it back again. At this point I was also beginning to count the cost of fuel spent on these pointless journeys and time away from work. Not to mention the growing seed of doubt that I have been sold a plum that they were trying to get rid of and I’m being treated like the mug I obviously appear to be to these people. Once again I returned the vehicle to Volvo Eastbourne to be told that the vehicle now has flat spots on the other three wheels(!) and too much play in the front near side suspension! Yes I am telling you the truth, having had a fault with vibration that has been assessed by two master technicians and a regular technician for 5 months I am now being told that the other wheels have the same problem as the original wheel. Obviously I felt that I had no choice but to begin a complaints procedure and duly followed the instructions on the website. First I received response from Volvo themselves telling me they refused my complaint because it is a used vehicle and it should be covered by the Selekt warranty. They referred my complaint on to Volvo Eastbourne and they picked it up. The first response was to ask to inspect the vehicle again (for the 5th time!) and of course without that taking place they could offer no further assistance. We are a one car family of 5 so the car is pretty crucial to our shared daily lives and it takes a little organisation to find a suitable time where we can traipse across to Eastbourne for yet another master inspection by these people. The car though must have known that another journey to Eastbourne was on the horizon and it decided to break down during a short journey to the beach….

Customer Service at Caffyns Tunbridge Wells
We are on our 5th vehicle via Caffyns across both the Seat and Skoda brands. We have always had excellent customer service, in particular from Richard Haughton who is a pleasure to deal with.

Customer Service
Over the past 6 months, I’ve brought my car in for both an MOT and an investigation. On both occasions, Jason from the service department has assisted me, and I have to say his customer service is exceptional. He’s consistently helpful, attentive, and, most importantly, genuinely cares.

Just had my Seat Leon serviced for the first time at Caffyn's, Tunbridge Wells. What a great experience. From booking in, arriving at the dealership, and picking up my (very well cleaned...for free) car. Excellent service and can't fault anything. Whole experience felt very premium. Many thanks.

Most of the other manufacturers dealerships the we visited appeared totally disinterested. Including our local VW dealership.

Wow, what an experience!
Wow! What an experience. I purchased a car in January 2025 as a long distance customer, I asked for a video and photos of the car and made the purchase. I was due to take delivery on 30/1/25 but was advised at gone 9am on the day that upon driving the vehicle to the petrol station to put some fuel in for me that a stone had flipped up and cracked the windscreen. This was then booked in for the 3/2/25 and delivery would take place 4/2/25. This all happened correctly. Upon delivery I found a number of issues, such as damage to the drivers side rear wheel arch and to the back bumper, neither of which were mentioned on the video walk around. The windscreen had been replaced but there was no valet on the back of this work taking place, the dashboard was dusty and the interior clean in general was poor. I noticed on first driving it that the fuel gauge said 10miles and I drove less than half a mile before it said 0 miles so I am not sure what happened to the fuel that was being sort when the windscreen was damaged. As I was waiting for a resolution I also noticed that one of the illuminated running boards lights was broken, again not mentioned on the video. I also noticed that the service booklet and MOT certificate had not been sent with the car either. I have now had the damage to the back bumper repaired by a company of their choosing but it was not signed off for the blend from plastic bumper to metal to be completed so now the back bumper looks a different colour to the rest of the car. The wheel arch damage was not signed off for a respray and instead has been touched up. I am now 5 weeks from delivery and although I have received the service booklet and have been refunded a sum of money for the illuminated running board not working I am still without the MOT certificate and I still have no V5 document, both of which I have to resolve myself.

Really pleased with Caffyns Ashford
Really pleased with Caffyns Ashford. After sales and servicing was trouble free, as described, on time, and friendly. A reasonable service plan made the "in/out" process really easy. Thanks for such a simple, good experience.

What a truly wonderful Dealership
It’s the little touches that make a difference and Steven Chudley and the Team absolutely nailed it! He made my daughter’s experience of buying her first brand new car truly special, from the way he explained everything to her, to the unveiling of her car and then the finishing touch of a gift to her including Prosecco and chocolates, I will be returning to this dealership to get my next car as the experience is truly exceptional, well done Caffyns Eastbourne, you really deserve the 5 star rating, definitely worth the hours drive to get there, keep up the great work!

I have given 1 star because I’ve had to to proceed with the review for caffyns at ashford
The quality of devices is not at all a great experience and I don’t think I would receive them to anybody it is an absolute nightmare to come to a solution when sold a faulty car and wait for any response I can’t name anyone as they all work together to make sure they are right they had my car for almost 17 months waiting for a part and repairing it once only for it to come back with same issue on the same day constant calls and no solution gets a bit draining the car has now been supposedly repaired and now the boot shelf and foot rest are missing from the vehicle and I’m waiting to see what’s happening there the car was absolutely filthy on return and to be honest I would not recommend that car dealership it was the worst experience ever and still is I don’t give it any stars but had to give one to write this

Substandard Vehicles
We purchased a Brand New VW Polo from Caffyns in Worthing via CARWOW
All of the communication prior to collection was great and friendly.
On the day of collection...we completed all of the documentation and made the balance of the deposit payment.
As we were about to sit in the vehicle, we noticed a dent on the front passenger A pillar. This was highlighted to the sales rep and he agreed that they will arrange for someone local to us to carry out a smart repair.
On returning to Birmingham we also noticed a deeper scratch to the rear quarter panel on the passenger side and also MOP swirls on the rear passenger side wheel arch. A brand new car should not have mop swirl marks.
They suggested that we can return the vehicle to them and cancel the finance - refund deposit. This was not a viable solution as it meant we would be out of pocket for the travel to worthing as well as the moneys we had paid for insurance. They wouldn’t pay for that.
Without writing 5 pages…. In a nutshell, they provided a load of solutions that were advantageous for them none of which were to do the right thing for the customer.
Speaking with VW UK is also a complete waste of time. They could not do anything to resolve the situation and had to do whatever Caffyns suggested.
Ultimately, we submitted a claim through the small claims court as we were not getting anywhere dealing with the sale person and sales manager.
Following mediation, they agreed to a solution, which was financially worse for them than what we first offered.
I would not recommend them at all… Something that should have been a celebration, buying my daughter’s first car ended up being over 7 months of stress.

After sales service.
The problem that I had with this dealership has now been rectified and I have been paid the money that I was due back months ago. Callum was very helpful and apologetic that it hadn't been sorted previously. If you deal with this garage I'd recommend dealing with Callum.
I cant fault Callum on the sales process but I suppose you always get good service when a company wants your money. I purchased a Q5 for £42,000 I was told about the body and wheel insurances that they provide and decided to take them at a cost of about £1200 as it seemed the sensible thing to do on a car if that value. Unfortunately I crashed the car a week later and wrote it off. We rang them up to cancel the insurances as I obviously didn't require them anymore as I no longer had the car. There is a 30 day cancellation period so I was well within this. 3 months have now passed and I have not been refunded. There were various calls within the first month chasing the refund and then multiple calls over the last 3 month as well. From what I can gather someone there didn't inform the insurance company that we wanted to cancel the policy. We are being given the run around by the garage and not having calls returned. So I am £1200 out of pocket through no fault of my own, no one there will accept responsibility or tell me what is going on, or if I will get my money back.
