Simple to fit , look stunning and arrived within 14 days I’d ordering

Easy to measure and install. Remember to deduct 4mm from actual measurements to allow for tolerance. Top quality - faux wood are made in the UK and arrive quicker but are more expensive. Real wood are made in China and take longer to arrive. Both are excellent quality. Highly recommend.

Great service

Top rate shutters. Easy to install. Delivery was 3 mths but that’s fine. Ensure you measurements are correct - double check. Only minor downside is no instructions therefore no idea what the bits are in the bag for each shutter.

The perfect fit shutters really look the part and represent excellent value for money. So easy to fit that you don’t even need a screwdriver or any other type of tool. I did have a problem with the delivery as only 6 of the 7 packages were delivered. However, it was the courier company who made the error and thanks to Michelle from California Shutters Customer Services Department, a replacement package was despatched. Well done.

Lovely shutters, incredibly well made for the price. I found them very easy to fit by myself.
I feel the rail bar would benefit from an additional cap to conceal cut lines on the top, however again for the price no complaints.
They have transformed the room.

California blinds were very quick to respond to my emails even during busy Christmas period. I was a little disappointed that my blinds did not arrive on time and they tried their best to deliver as quickly as possible. The blinds were lovely very good quality.

Incredible quality, well priced and very easy to install. Looks sturdy and more beautiful than any other systems we saw in retail, without the high price and the annoying salesmen.
Really the best purchase we ve made in our home to date and our go to place for our next home when we need to fit all our windows.

Their website made it really easy to see which shutters would work for our windows. The measuring guide was really helpful too.

The shutters arrived after a few weeks and we installed them ourselves. We found it pretty easy to install them though we did get some help from Sam's dad!

Loving having the shutters in. They make the rooms feel cosy and look so smart and sleek. We sometimes leave the bottom shutters closed for privacy and then just open the top half. It's great to have that option.

Would 100% recommend going with California Shutters DIY option if you're looking for a cheaper alternative without compromising on quality.

The shutters are made to order so there’s a bit of a wait (6 weeks) but the quality of the other shutters we have in the house makes it worth the wait 👍

Not flexible in what can be changed cannot replace a cill section on a side bullnose section

Sample was received with a couple of days. Was to measure and order and delivered within 2 weeks. Very happy

Really pleased with the service. All the way from ordering and delivery. Was straight forward to put together on my own even. Had an issue with first delivery (my fault) and the support was top notch. Ordered my third set; really pleased overall

I spent some time looking at companies that provided shutters for my home. Hillary's was top of the list, but after getting a quote, the price was ridiculously high, plus there was a lead time of 3 months, because the shutters were made in China.

Other companies I found had similar shutters but the prices were just too high. The main reason for this is because they also fit the shutters, which adds about 40% more to the price.

Then I discovered Californian Shutters. They supplied shutters for DIY installation.

I ordered some sample pieces of San Francisco faux wood, it looks very nice.

I called the company and spoke to Michelle and Alex who were extremely polite and very helpful.

I made several calls to Californian shutters regarding sizing and installation for each of my rooms, because all of my windows in my home will have shutters.

Most of the time I spoke with Alex. Each time he was incredibly polite and patient with every question I asked.

I ordered the first shutter for the bathroom. It was easy to install.

The shutter is absolutely beautiful, and just as nice as what Hillary's would have provided, but with Californian Shutters, I saved a lot of money, because I installed it myself.

I did have an issue with the bedroom shutter on my second order. I called Alex. He resolved the problem without any fuss.

Their customer service is fantastic. They certainly know how to treat customers.

This is the reason why I have chosen this company to purchase my shutters.

So many things ! The quality and accuracy of the shutters , the speed at which they where delivered and the online help and advise I received . Another impressive little touch is that they don't place your order for 24 hours after submission to give you time to re-check your order . This company was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend to others .
