We lived in a mold-infested apartment…
We lived in a mold-infested apartment for most of the winter due to a leaking roof that the company refused to fix or even acknowledge as their fault. Instead, they tried to blame us, claiming it was caused by drying clothes indoors—even though water was visibly dripping from the ceiling every time it rained. Since the start, we were told to keep the trickle vents open, which we did, but this only made the apartment unbearably cold because of how poorly insulated the building was.
To make matters worse, we were hit with a nearly 10.000kr heat bill when we moved out, despite living there for less than a year. This was caused by having to keep the trickle vents open nonstop, as asked to, while running the heaters for most of the time just to try and make the apartment somewhat livable in the cold conditions.
The company never addressed the mold problem while we lived there, and I later found out that my neighbors on the same floor were dealing with the exact same issues.
If you’re considering renting with them, especially on Vesterbro, don’t do it. This was by far the worst rental experience I’ve ever had, and I would strongly advise others to avoid them at all costs.
