Unannounced shipping delays
Long story short: delivery was promised on Saturday (latest), didn't arrive, had to throw over assignment
On the 18th of August I ordered a couple of Cactus Wireless Triggers and payed via Bank transfer 5 minutes after the order was made. To make sure everything was ok, I called in on Tuesday (23rd). Cameratools told me that they had received the money and were going to send out the package that very day. As I hadn't received an email with the tracking number on Thursday, I called again, where Cameratools told me that they had to wait for some other shipment to arrive before (the website showed that the item was in stock at the time I ordered), but that they would send the package immediately and that I was going to have it on Saturday (27th.) latest.
I have an assignment on Sunday (28th) where I planned to shoot using multiple flashes (more than usual, hence the Cactus set), most of which can not serve as a slave.
Saturday's gone, no package here ... Calling in on Friday wasn't of much help. They even told me that they had sent it out sometime earlier this week. According to TNT, it was sent on Thursday (as stated by Cameratools before), so that might even be a little bit of stretching facts here.
It's great that they sell otherwise difficult to get stuff in Europe - but due to their unreliability in terms of shipping, ordering from overseas suddenly becomes an option again - and it's even cheaper.

Very friendly shop
