Great site in beautiful lakeside location with lots of lovely cycle rides and walks. Good pitch size with the added bonus of a private bathroom! Very helpful staff, but we do wonder why a retired couple without children were located virtually opposite the children's play area and animation! A small on site shop would have been helpful.

Great campsite. Amazing facilities for small children - especially the pool, numerous playparks and animation. Site was well cared for and tidy. The swimming lake was great fun. Great location for cycling. On-site restaurant had mixed reviews from our group of 10, some loved it and some not so much. Campsite staff were friendly. We hired accommodation which was spotlessly clean. During heatwaves, aircon is a must!!! Ours did not have aircon and even with five fans, it was awfully hot.(Hotter inside than outside!). A small shop on site with toiletries and essentials would be great.

We stayed in a mobile home. Clean, functional, fine. Shower was great, bed was fine.

Animation team was exciting and invited the kids to the activities by going round with a golf cart while playing fun music. Great team.

Overall it was a nice stay with nothing exceptional or unique things.

A very child-friendly campsite, beautifully situated right by the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the amenities in the mobile homes could be a bit better (for example, there was no toaster). Overall, though, it was a very good stay. We would happily come back.

Nice rural camping, friendly and helpfull staff. Lots of sport and leisure activities on the camping. Too bad it was pre season so they were not available. They serve a great schnitzel and friesb at a cosy restaurant terrace. Ofcourse with half a liter of Warsteiner. Good stay..

We stood at B1. There was no electricity in The Toilethouse. No hot Water to wash the dishes. Temporary no warm water for the shower. Also no waste basket.
All in all to expensive .

Great facilities for the kids! And the kids club were really great too - though we we’d missed more information about the exact activity..

The houses are surprisingly small though, and feels damp in the morning.
The food in the restaurant was okay, but not a gastronomic experience.

Although we could differently recommend this place for your next vacation.

The restaurant is fine for a drink or a snack, but their food is no good. They should definitely up their game.

Because soap was often missing in the toilets, and the cleaning of the toilets wasn’t always that great either. 😀

A lot of noise in the evening in the parking lot behind, with cars revving and making noise on many of the nights we were here. 🙏🏻

Otherwise, we have to say the staff is really polite and speaks excellent English. 😀

Great activities for the kids at the site, and the pool is perfect. 😀

A really good and family-friendly campsite. 🏕️

It‘s been our second time here and we enjoyed our trip. The place for our caravan was quite nice and big enough. The bathroom was one of the newer ones. It was absolutely fine. Enough space and clean.
Our 5 year old daughter enjoyed all the awesome playgrounds and spent a lot of our trip by the pool.
The animation team was better than last year, but I personally I think it’s a little sad that none of the animation team is a native German speaker. Some of the events were really hard to follow - especially for the German kids because they couldn’t understand it.

Great spot, friendly and service minded staff. Too much noice from pools long opening hours, staff did try to compensate by reducing hours to 21:00. But OK, we are not a small kid family anymore. For small kid families a perfect spot! PS: no market - so shop in Borken or Rhede.

It was great. My son had fun on the playgrounds, the swimming pool was the best, we were every day there.

Definitely would not recommend! The people were very unfriendly, they ‘rented’ us a place for a party tent on an area that was from the public space not from the camping and when an old lady came to make pictures because it was not allowed they started a discution with us for that. We paid 17€ for breakfast which was NOTHING: one slice of bread with almost non existent butter and a slice of cheese (if you were lucky) or salami BUT NOT BOTH TOGETHER AT LEAST + ‘orange juice’ that was 2/10 orange juice mixed with 8/10 water 😪. Also, we had an allowence for the noise until 1am but they put the electricity off at 23. Would not recommend!!!

We had a company event weekend in September and booked the whole lion field (except 1 tent). Beside some dissonances in communication/booking everything was fine. The stuff is friendly and helpful and we had a great weekend. Many thanks for your support according the freezer truck. We are going to repeat it. :)

Due to a lot of traffic we arrived late at 22qm and it wasn’t possible to get a late check in. So we had to sleep in the car for one night with three kids. Never ever experienced something like that before. Wouldn’t have been a problem to tell us the code for the parking space and leave a key…
The tiny house we had was okay, but really not worth the expensive price. Not all the hot plates in the kitchen work.
The camping space is quite nice for kids.

This was our second visit to the camp. This time we had to start cleaning the dishes and the sitting area. Not how we planed to start our holiday. The weather was also bad all week but we cant blame you for that.

Everything was great. We enjoyed our stay very much. For our two Kids it was perfect...swimming Pool, playgrounds, Lake,Safari lodge

Stayed in a Safari Ranger Tent with 2 adults and 2 children.
Everything was of a high quality and clean and we enjoyed the tent very much. The swimming pool and the nearby lake and beach were fantastic.
Our children enjoyed the various playgrounds and the car free environment made the children feel very safe.

Even if we left the house spot clean, and it was checked by the staff before leaving and they have told us thateverything is ok, im still waiting to receive back the money that they booked in advance for cleaning .
