Reviewers frequently reported problems with their orders, such as cancellations, items being back-ordered after payment, and significant delays in shipping or pickup. The customer service was widely criticized for being unhelpful, unresponsive, and difficult to reach, with many feeling that their concerns were not addressed. Staff members were often described as pushy, unknowledgeable, and exhibiting poor attitudes. Canada computer sent me a empty box…

Canada computer sent me a empty box instead of a ROG NUC - worth 2,200$
I recieved the parcel and it was empty, call them took 3 business days just to tell me they sent it. and no help after that.

Just said file a police report - not that we will help you find the parcel, we will contact UPS to file a claim nothing. i contacted cops they just gave me an incident report, i asked will they be looking for my device when it comes online - said no.

Basically a police report does nothing to find your device, i called Asus informed the same, created a case and was told if it comes online they cant do anything.
I completely Blame the sender Canada Computers - 1st - they used a box that was 4 times the size of the mini pc. no reason at all, someone took out the item and resealed the box, 2nd - they put there warehouse address on the senders - this is a big problem - as soon as driver or anyone who gets the parcel will want whats in the parcel as they know it is electronics.

Also in general the help and customer service is below zero, i am out of 2,200$ and i am getting answers like file a police report that is it. they dont even want to file insurance claim with UPS, how pathetic is this.

People in the future - dont support online purchases - this is very common now. no one cares, i must pad the salary of the CS who answered the phone and did nothing. instead of working towards helping the buyer, i have no help at all but arrogance and my fault. i dont even know how it is my fault.

Even 1 star is too much

Even 1 star is too much. Placed an online order for DDR5 ram at a deal price. When I went to pickup the manager cancelled the order right then so that I could not pickup since ram prices doubled so they could re-sell at higher price. Very unethical and unmoral business practices. Avoid shopping from them.

Price Guarantee fraud

They claim they provide a "15-day price guarantee", but create so many ways to not honour the statement with a complex policy. This company charged full price one day and placed items on sale the next day. When asked to honour their claim, they said they couldn't because the policy does not cover for promotional discounts. One can just return the items and reorder, so what is the point?! That is absurd.

The service was good like when I needed and fix they are helpful but buying a computer was a,nightmare only 15 days to return is not enough and they choose gigabyte for almost all there computers instead of using asus b650 why gigabyte is like not that good anyway I had to go on phone like 30 mins with manager to ask for a,return I had it 30 days but they wouldn't let me. Now my brother was looking for a computer but im gonna, look somewhere else.

Terrible customer service

Took in a laptop that needed a new cpu. I asked for estimated cost at the repair desk and only thing out of the guys mouth was $50 for a diagnosis. I was just looking for a quote for a known repair issue and he must have said $50 four times. Might as well been talking to a computer. I looked at their new laptops on display and all priced higher than their competitor across the street. Unless you are looking to build a gaming system, i would not recommend.

Worst customer service ever.

They have refused to give me any valid reason why my Credit Card was refused, and by the time they responded and elevated it to higher levels, they are telling me the only option to pay the bill is through internet money transfer or an online banking bill payment. The primary reason to use a CC is to get the additional warranty on my purchase and they have ruined that opportunity even though I followed every instruction on their website 100%. Now there are parts of the order that they will not even fill. By far the very worst customer service, lack of responses and accountability I have ever experienced. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Do not buy online. They deducted 237.00 twice

Do not buy online. They deducted 237.00 for the product it went out of my bank account does not show a hold from my bank account. Then when I went to go and pick up the part in store , I had to pay again with them saying it's a hold there were no funds on hold and my balance was 237 less then previous so I was out 237 + 237 cause I purchased the part .. horrible online system will never shop with them online again. Funds better be returned in 3 days...

Too Many Red Flags

Most reputable online retailers only charge your payment method once the item ships — not at the moment you place the order. Canada Computers, however, charged my credit card for a product that was clearly on backorder. In contrast, Newegg handled a similar situation professionally: they cancelled the order, never authorized the payment, and immediately refunded the warranty I had purchased for the unavailable item.

Avoid Canada Computers. Their behavior raises serious concerns. I wouldn’t be surprised if a class action lawsuit emerges — there must be something in contract law that prohibits accepting payment for inventory they don’t actually possess. Then again, I’m not legal counsel… just someone who expects basic accountability.

Title: Sold Unnecessary Merchandise Based on Employee's Error, Then Denied Return

Title: Sold Unnecessary Merchandise Based on Employee's Error, Then Denied Return

My Experience:

At Canada Computers, I specifically asked a salesman if the computer case I was buying included cooling fans. He explicitly stated it did not and recommended I purchase three high-end fans, which I did based solely on his advice.

Weeks later, while building my PC, I discovered the case came equipped with two fans already installed. The salesman's fundamental claim was incorrect, causing me to spend a significant amount of money on products I did not need.

I returned to the store with the two unopened, unused fans, expecting a straightforward return since the purchase was a direct result of their employee's error. The store refused, citing a time-based return policy and taking no responsibility for the mistake.

Might be the worst customer service I…

Might be the worst customer service I have seen. Order laptop got aproved on my card your guys "security" flagged it for absolutly no reason. Called, was told to email accounting, no reply. Made ticket which you guys only reply to maybe once a day. Called back a day later cause product was on sale and didnt want to miss out. The guy seemed helpful was going to work on my ticket and call me back. As you can guess didnt get a call back, he also assured me the sale was on for another week, it wasnt only for another 2 days. Called back again and told to email accounting but she wasnt around so try monday, told him the sale had already ended then got told I was SOL. Unreal. Never buying from this site again.

Terrible Customer Service

I went to return an AIO that was about a week past the return policy (which is 15 days for non-defective items, I assumed it was 30 days for everything and not just defective items). The AIO had never been opened, I just went with a different option.

I understand I was the one that made the mistake, but I literally just spent $3k on parts there and they're not willing to make an exception for a $200 sale that was made 25 days ago? Do the managers literally not have any discretion when it comes to returns? What's the point of "customer service" if you're not going to serve the customer?

I've worked retail, I've worked customer service, and I work in business administration at the moment, and this is dogshit customer service. Congratulations on losing a customer forever who just spent $3k because you can't take back a $200 sale that's a week past the in store return policy.

This was at the Newmarket location by the way. Absolutely dogshit.

Bad repair, warranty and customer service

I went to CC for my laptop repair twice in Fanshawe, London. I can tell you in detail why they're incompetent and arrogant.
First time it's because my laptop won't boot. They said it's motherboard issue, they did their repair in ~21 days, good. But they returned my laptop without any screws, and I had to call them myself to get the news on my laptop.
Then I found out my laptop doesn't seem to charge, I think it's motherboard issue again, I suspect they might have broken something, so within 30 days I brought my laptop for the warranted repair. This is when things go straight downhill.
They called, telling me to bring my ram and stuff, but its far away so I refused at first. I doubt it's related, and more importantly, they have their own hardware for testing.
THEN THEY SAY "THEN IT'S READY FOR PICKUP"
I was sceptical, so I asked what's the battery level, are they seeing the issue etc.
THEY COULDN'T GIVE ME A STRAIGHT ANSWER.
So it raised my suspicions even more. I called 30 mins later, that's when they folded and said there's indeed issue with the battery level.
THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TURNING ON THE LAPTOP BEFORE ASKING ME TO COME FOR PICKUP.
Even after that, they were like "you're sure you want me to send this to hq?". I'm getting the passive-aggressive tone, but I won't say for sure, benefit of the doubt. So I replied, "If that is the only way to fix this issue."
Then of course they delayed it until it's 30 days to even check what's wrong this time, cause they're not getting paid this time.
Then they just say "it's unrepairable" on the phone. No a single detail, I only learned some of it later.
I STILL DON'T KNOW IF THEY BROKE SOMETHING DURING THEIR FIRST REPAIR, CAUSING THIS ISSUE. THEY NEVER GAVE ME AN EXPLANATION, EVEN WHEN I ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES.
Based on the 1-star review you can probably tell they also gave me an attitude when I asked one last time when I picked up the laptop, at least one of them did. But at least they finally told me they did think it's motherboard issue and they couldn't source the part.
And when I brought up the warranty, the very first thing that one employee said without hesitation was "No its only for within 30 days". My guy, it is within 30 days. So they checked and finally folded and gave me the refund, realising I do have everything on hand, including the original receipt.
Still wasted my time, gave me an attitude, and I still can't tell if they broke my laptop.

TLDR, they might have broken my laptop, refused to give me straight answers, wasted everyone's time and terrible customer service.
Update:
I tried turning on the laptop, it went back to being completely broken like before the first repair.

Company can't even stand by their own…

Company can't even stand by their own warranty. Very poorly run and to hell with the customer. We went through 2 computers in 2 years. They were unable to fix the problem with the first computer and we stupidly accepted Store Credit (at a major loss to us). Purchased the Canada Computers 4 year Warranty (at $300) thinking if anything happened they would honor their own product. What a major mistake on our part. Again an unfixable problem with the second computer (a little sus if you ask me) and major under value for a store credit only. I guess they will see us in court.

Don’t buy from Canada Computers

Terrible company to deal with! They advertise items then don’t want to sell them. They flag credit cards despite them being approved, through their own app, by the bank. They are incredibly pushy to want to cancel the order and give you a refund.
I believe they false advertise low prices to get you into their site then pull this BS

Payment Issues

Absolutely ridiculous payment policy regarding both payment methods and how they process them. They will not allow any form of debit mastercard nor prepaid card accounts like KOHO. The money gets put on a hold and unless you contact them yourself they just let it sit until the authorization runs out. For a Canadian company they sure want to make it near impossible to "buy Canadian", just take my money and lets do this. No, as usual I'll have to resort to settling for whatever slop BestBuy has to offer..
