I have been using candle science for a couple years now, and most of the time I just purchase their 16oz bottles, so I've never dumped the whole bottle out and weight the oil.
Just recently started buying their 1oz and 4oz bottles of scent. I have been doing so, to make small batches of my candles, to see what my customers opinions are, how quickly they sell or do not sell, ECT.

In doing so, I have come to the realization that their 1oz and 4oz bottles of oil... actually include the weight of the bottle that they come in, and I'm sure the larger bottles are the same.

Which means that you are NOT actually getting 1oz, 4oz, or 16oz of oil, ECT. You are paying for the weight of the oil...AND THE WEIGHT OF THE BOTTLE THAT IT COMES IN!! Which is total BS!!

The 4oz bottles of oil, only have around 3.80 FL oz in them!! I have weighed 4 different 4oz bottles of oil, and they are all weighing in between 3.80 oz and 3.85 oz.

When I sell my candles, I don't include the weight of the jar that they come in, the wick, the label, or the dust cover... The weight on my label...IS THE WEIGHT OF THE WAX AND OIL!! Not the weight of the packaging and everything else!!

This is completely unacceptable!!!

I have been purchasing from CandleScience for about 2 years now. They not only have great products and competitive prices, but their customer service puts them head and shoulders above anyone else! We all know stuff happens and sometimes orders have problems, but you can rest assured if you do business with CandleScience, you will be taken care of quickly and professionally! Never hesitate to place an order large or small with this company...they are outstanding!

Ive been ordering from here for almost 2 years now. Great company for scents, jars, wicks and more. They have a great clearance section as well. Great customer service and shipping times. Only had 1 issue in almost 2 yrs and they fixed it right away.

CandleScience is a top-notch company! I have a small, natural candle company and have been using CandleScienxe for most of my candle-making supplies. Not only are their fragrance oils healthier to inhale than other companies, but they also smell amazing! Whether its oils, wax, wicks, or jars, this company has it all and their customer service is outstanding. Any issues I have encountered were immediately resolved. I highly recommend CandleScience! I’ve just started making soap a month ago and so far I am absolutely loving every single fragrance oil I’ve purchased from Candle Science! I do have others from craft stores and they don’t compare, I can smell the quality difference. I love their description page about each item too! I’ve spent so much time reading through them and they are always done so nicely. Also, fast shipping which is another plus point. Very happy to have found this supplier through my soap group on FB and will definitely continue purchasing from them.

Loved my FO’s I ordered recently they were all great and shipping was super fast! Would recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to try more scents!

I order from CandleScience frequently, and they are fantastic--very quick shipping, excellent response to email (my preferred way of contacting people), and competitive pricing. I'm not sure why some have left 3 or 4 star reviews based on issues that cannot be controlled by the company (like when fragrance oil will be available--we are in a PANDEMIC, and the entire supply chain is messed up). I can't rave about CandleScience enough--they are just a great company to work with.

Fast shipping and phthalate free fragrances, just wish there were more selections of jars and tops, very great first time experience and awesome wax!!!

I had a really bad experience purchasing candle making supplies from another company so I didn’t want to make that mistake again! I belong to a candle making Facebook group so I asked the group who they recommended. This company was highly recommended over & over. They were right!! Awesome customer service, fragrance oils that are top quality. In fact everything I’ve received so far has been awesome. Thank you for all the training videos & advise!

CandleScience is an awesome company! They have amazing products, a fast turn around when ordering and great customer service.
My only problem right now is that a lot of the fragrance oils I want, are out of stock on the West Coast. I know it's the times we are in right now, but am hoping this can get corrected sooner rather than later. It's still my go to company for candle supplies.

I cannot say enough good things about Candle Science. The scents have great heat and cold throw. A large selection of everything you need to begin. They keep in contact with changes in product. They ship fast and easy. Shipping is a bit pricey but I am not certain that is in their control. Whether you are a beginner, or a seasoned maker you cannot go wrong using Candle Science. I Highly recommend this company.
