Scammed, and not even a partial refund! I bought a vintage Battle set by Timpo from these, which was listed as complete. When it arrived, there were only U.S. soldiers, no Germans, as there should have been. All they offered was to return it, but as it was a present, I'd already gifted it. I asked for a partial refund, which they've refused. So, due to some idiots laziness in not researching the sets properly, I've had to buy some Timpo Germans seperately, which aren't cheap. A pretty poor performance form these coves, whom I won't use again. Beware!

I won loads of items on their last toy auction, i was quite excited in receiving them as there all looked good on papers then i read their feedbacks and got cold feet and was dreading what i was going to get.

Once I received the items I became more confused as to why this company does not have a generally good feedbacks pattern as what they provided me was super fast and super perfect service. Almost everything were described correctly in fact the toys were in a lot better conditions than there were described. I really cannot wait for their next toy auctions I really should not be praising C & T this much as i may be encouraging other buyers to compete with me but this company's honest conduct left me obliged to be truthful and leave an honest review. Rude, condescending, and accused me of being the type of person who would default and not pay if I won the auction. I have never participated in an auction like this. C&T seems like it is being run by folks who are not interested in customer service.

Rang them up, lady on phone said she would pass my number to a specialist, that was 2 weeks ago heard nothing.
I have lots of seventies toys in box , trains set clockwork and other bits .
Obviously I'm not worth it. I suggest looking for a proper professional company.

If you’re a military collector, avoid these people like the plague they are completely corrupt! They will sell anything on here whether it is completely fake or not. They have no scruples whatsoever. They just want to take your money.

I have been buying from hundreds of auction houses more than ten thousands lots I never faced such fraud; I have bought a lot described as gold cufflinks, when I received the cufflinks found it gold plated silver requested them to refund refused and said there is a label on the box photo say it is silver, what if they are gold and the box say gold plated would they sell it as gold plated>>scammers scammers scammers

I won two edged weapons in one of their fine militaria auctions earlier this year.I had no communication from them regarding delivery or tracking number.They now use Royal Mail who have a terrible track record for losing parcels and theft.Royal Mail delivered my parcel to another property where it was then stolen.Despite the order including insurance this auction house didn't refund the full amount and with held nearly £500!! I feel really let down as I've spent a lot of money with them over the years.I will never use this auction house ever again!!

This is the best auction company I have ever used, and I have used a few over the years. I entered a few items into one of their recent auctions.

I contacted Mr Matthew Tredwen, he is very knowledgeable. He fully researched my items, had professional photographs taken and fully described and marketed my items.

The auction result was spectacular, he achieved a brilliant price for my items. I am very pleased with the outcome and the service I received. The communications along the way were excellent. All the members of the team I have spoken to have been very helpful and friendly too.

Payment has been made direct into my account. With emails to inform me along the way. Fantastic service. I fully recommend C and T Auctioneers, a very straight forward service for me, although I know that behind the scenes all the team are working very hard to achieve that brilliant service.

Previously they would have got 5 stars, but...

Be aware of their 2% surcharge for leaving absentee commission bids on their web site. It is not properly declared alongside the regular and live bidding rates when you register. It is stated in their terms and conditions but I am sure that is not legally enforceable as it is not listed prominently like the other rates when you sign up / leave absentee bids. And it is a nonsense, because no one else charges for absentee bids placed on their own web site. C&T say you can email bids in at the standard commission rate, which is a joke, as doing it online basically cuts their workload / does their job for them, but somehow you get charged for doing it. Worst deal going. In my book.

A really crappy company! I had to use them as a won an auction on C&T auctions who contracted Jentel. First the communication was very slow. Then the handling and shipping price was very high. Finally two very expensive toy cars (+£500 each) were not properley packaged. These models cars were not even protected in their original boxes. My advice, just don't use Jentel packing.
