Look no further if you need a dog trainer
We have just completed a course of 4 lessons with Kevyn from Canine Karma, who came to help us integrate Ralph - our recently acquired Serbian mongrel - into our lives. Ralph had few manners and taking him for a walk was like being strapped to a high-speed train. Ralph loved Kevyn from the get go and within the first lesson had him walking nicely without pulling, but I must admit it was my husband and I who needed the ‘guidance’, Ralph did as he was directed. Second lesson we graduated on to recall, and as the sessions progressed we found it so much easier to understand Ralph thanks to Kevyn explaining not only dog psychology but physiology as well, and Ralph understood what was expected of him. We realise that this is an ongoing process but it has ceased to be a battle - Kevyn has given the three of us a great foundation for our future together. We really cannot recommend Kevyn strongly enough – he is brilliant.
Outstanding service from Kevyn
Outstanding service from Kevyn. We are not novice dog owners, but new to the breed we now have (Dobermann). We have friends who have their first dog (English Toy Terrier). Between friends it is sometimes tricky to navigate the canine relationships on top of the friendship. Even if you sort of know what you might need to do to help the dogs to get along, it is a little like teaching your other half to drive - not for the faint of heart. Enter Kevyn of Canine Karma. We undertook the problem child’s role (we had reason to) and Kevyn deftly manoeuvred through the relationship I have with our dog versus that my husband has. We were set on the right track in two sessions (at least I hope Kevyn also feels that way!), and the third was with our friends. We took a backseat and allowed our friends add their issues on top of ours. Kevyn not only saw right through the dogs but more importantly us, the somewhat useless humans. Kevyn is incredibly knowledgeable, full of practical information that we were able to absorb and put to practice in front of Kevyn. Kevyn is never clock watching, only interested in helping you and your dog. We walked away from our last session feeling as though we have turbo charged to the next level with our dogs and now look forward to having more holidays together - with the dogs in tow. Thank you Kevyn.
Forever grateful to Kevyn and the team…
Forever grateful to Kevyn and the team at Canine Karma!
Our two-year-old Vizsla became highly dog reactive, to the point of lunging at other dogs and pulling me over on our walks. I'd started avoiding dogs, walking at certain times to avoid people, public parks etc. We approached Canine Karma (after trying various trainers since our vizsla was 16 weeks old) and I honestly wouldn't look back.
You cannot put a price on Kevyn's skills, knowledge and expertise, and after 4 sessions with Kevyn I feel like we have a different dog. He helped corrections, lead pulling and recall, and mostly importantly how to help calm our dog in the home and in public. We now have such a happy dog and healthy relationship with our Vizsla after working with Kevyn, and now enjoy walking him again. I just wish we had found Canine Karma sooner!
Our dog now goes to boarding with Canine Karma, and honestly wouldn't go anywhere else now. It's like a 5* hotel for our dog!
Highly recommend!

We’ve been working with Ollie for a couple of months and have learned so much from him. He is patient, non-judgemental and brilliant at demonstrating exactly what to do for any issue we needed to address with our dog, Mirabel. She’s a 3 year old cocker spaniel - labrador cross from a working dog litter, so is high energy and has a very strong prey drive. Ollie has been helping us with lead pulling, over-excitability and reactive behaviours. As a result of his expertise, we have a much calmer dog, who doesn’t pull on the lead and is able to chill out at home. We’re learning how to visit restaurants, develop recall and, most importantly, communicate with Mirabel effectively. Instead of feeling stressed and overwhelmed, we now feel much more relaxed. It’s taken practise but the changes we needed to make were simple and easy to incorporate into our busy family life. As dog owners, we didn’t know what we needed to know. We feel extremely grateful to have been guided by Ollie’s expertise and look forward to continuing to learn more in future sessions… huge thank you to the dog whisperer!
The Best - Canine Karma
Great place for my dog Bella to stay for two weeks holiday.
Amazing staff and full of dog play friends, walks, activities and training.
Bella and I had received some behaviour training with Oliver a few months previously and she has come on well.
When Bella boarded at Canine Karma this September we received updates/pictures of her every couple of days and sadly she didn't look like she missed me at all!!!
Bella will be back at Canine Karma for a week or two when we next go away.
She was happy and in safe hands and that means everything to us.

My dog was in for a very short stay but came out happy and tired. He had a good time judging from the video of him out walking with other dogs.
Dog kennel on steroids!
I couldn’t recommend this kennels more. They truly have your dogs best interests at heart and they do a lot of fun things throughout their stay. I have just picked up my dog after 15 days whilst we were away and she has had the best 15 days of her life. We got frequent updates on how she’s been and pictures and videos throughout the 15 days. She can’t wait to go back again soon.
First stop for dog training, behaviour & care!
These people speak dog(!) and my anxious cockapoo is now calm and happy. He loves coming to meet his mates in daycare and I have a much better relationship with him too. Thank you Oliver and team!!! I just wish I'd found you before I consulted all the other behaviourists - would have saved myself a fortune!!!
Should have talked to these guys first!
Kevyn Tyler is the most amazing Dog Trainer!
Our Chocolate Labrador had developed some really antisocial habits like always pulling on his leash, jumping up to meet people, and eating "things" left on the ground.
After working with several other trainers, we felt it was impossible to ever get him to behave.
In session one with Canine Karma, we talked through canine psychology and human psychology, how to think like a dog and how to communicate so our Labrador understands what we want.
After our first session we made so much progress, I was confident this was not a lost cause! And now after more sessions, our Lab is consistently more happy and obedient.
Thanks Canine Karma and thanks so much Kevyn.
Our two most cherished dogs could not…
Our two most cherished dogs could not have been better looked after. They obviously had a great time as were quite unimpressed when I went to collect them - staying with the staff members instead of the rush to greet me I was expecting.
Photos of them out in the field playing were a delight to see.
Can't thank Oliver, Elaine and all the crew at Canine Karma enough - we now can have holidays with complete peace of mind that the dogs are probably having more fun than we are!!!
Amazing place and staff
Amazing place and staff, booked our boy in for a week and not only was he well looked after and happy and healthy… he had also received some training and is now able to mix with other dogs! Thank you to everyone in the team!!
Highly recommended
I was recommended by a family friend to leave my German Shepherd Chase in their caring hands. I’ve never left my dog with anyone in 12 years and was very apprehensive. However chase came back in very good spirits and the updates were great seeing him mingle with other dogs and generally enjoying himself. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a professional yet very caring group of people . Can’t thank them enough 😊
Our Dogs in Safe Hands
We've been lucky enough to have Ollie from Canine Karma train us (and yes I mean us :) ) so that we get the best from our dogs. So we know they are both in safe hands when boarding there. The team totally understand the psychology of dogs and are so professional. We dropped our dogs off for a couple of days stay recently and our dog Brodie, who's boarded here before, was so happy to be back that when he saw Jake he jumped out the car with excitement to say hello! On our return to collect them it was clear they'd enjoyed themselves both were happy, content and not really looking to leave. We wouldn't put our dogs anywhere else to be cared for and looked after when we need to travel without them. Thanks to the great team at Canine Karma!

Outstanding dog training/behaviour management!!
We had Ollie provide training sessions for our 7 year old dog. He was previously attacked and could behave reactively to other dogs. We was very nervous about walking him, worried that we would bump into dogs and have negative experiences. Ollie provided us with brilliant training and in a very short period of time has completely changed our relationship with walking our dog and how he behaves. The change in our dog is massive and has taken a huge weight of our shoulders. We was able to have experiences with our dog interacting with other dogs in a safe controlled manner. It’s actually hard to remember how our dog used to behave as the change has been drastic and so consistent since putting in the work with Canine Karma.
I’m so glad we was reconvened Canine Karma as it saved us so much money trying other trainers who may not have the same amount of expertise. I would recommend Ollie and Canine Karma to everyone, not just for training but for the boarding and daycare too!
Fantastic
My dog had a wonderful two night stay.
He came back calm, relaxed and truly spoilt.
He will definately be back.
Thank you
Great place
I was apprehensive about Buddy going in to boarding because he is dog reactive plus I didn’t like the idea of him being in a kennel for 2 weeks. I needn’t have worried as he came back very relaxed and better behaved. Kev called me afterwards to let me know how he’d been and what they’d been doing with him. I think he might get bored at home! This definitely isn’t your average boarding kennels.
Incredible support
We have recently finished our first set of training sessions with Georgia for our 5yr old Golden Retriever Blue who also had his first stay at Canine Karma Resorts this past weekend and I just wanted to get in touch to say thank you so much for both.
For the boarding; the whole service end to end was absolutely brilliant, the booking process, way of providing information/payment and communication from Elaine was great. We also did the tour with Kev a few weeks before and that was brilliant. As a rescue we are not certain about Blue's background but he can be reactive/nervous and so my partner and I were quite anxious about putting him in kennels for the first time but we definitely didn't need to be! After settling in, he had the best time with the other dogs and was so happy (not to mention shattered!) when we picked him up. There was a young guy when we picked him up who's name I didn't catch but he commented how well Blue had done which was great as improving his dog-on-dog interactions is something we've been working on.
With the training I can't even begin to say what a difference it has made. As mentioned, Blue was a very reactive dog on the lead barking/lunging at other dogs, cats/squirrells and sometimes other things. We had tried various harness/collars/leads and other techniques but nothing seemed to work making both him and us more and more stressed to the point we were really worried about injury as he is such a strong dog. The techniques and tools Georgia has given us though so simple in one way (who thought a slip lead could literally change your life!) have been amazing - though we still have a long way to go the change since we first started is huge, all our friends and family comment on how much calmer and settled Blue seems. We're focusing on trying to get the basics right every time and planning some future training on recall - which honestly a few months ago felt like an impossible idea.
We had a session at Bricket Wood to assess Blue for the day care to be put on the waitlist and we couldn't believe how well he interacted with the other dogs, it was so amazing to see and hope when he is able to go that will help improve his socialisation even further. We also know the majority of the work is with us as the owners and Georgia did such a great job in helping us see how we need to lead Blue in the right way. When Georgia first came we were at such a low point and I can't thank her enough for helping us - she was amazing in the way she did the sessions, kept in touch and offered support outside if we needed it. Please do pass on our thanks to her.
Hyperactive Pom
Ollie has been absolutely amazing! I had a very hyperactive pomeranian who did not know how to switch off and would put people off from visiting my home!
From the minute Ollie walked I could see he had a natural connection with Bear. Within the first session he showed me that it is possible for my crazy dog to learn to chill!
I have been able to learn that a lot of the behaviours are due to myself not demonstrating leadership and how I can do this going forward.
Though I am not as consistent as I should be Bear has made some amazing changes, he is no longer jumping on my sofas, he is SO much calmer when people visit and a lot more attentive to my commands. I know if I continue to implement what Ollie has taught me Bear will be the happiest doggo!
Highly recommend Ollie and his team, so much so that bear is now attending the daycare where he can continue to thrive!
Thank you Ollie and team.
I cannot recommend Canine Karma enough…
I cannot recommend Canine Karma enough Ollie is really knowledgeable and has worked wonders with my very nervous anxious pup - I think the whole set up and all the staff I have met are wonderful and I have never been to a doggy daycare where all the dogs are so calm and relaxed it is wonderful to see.
Betty my nervous dog is booked into Canine Karma kennels for a week and I have every faith in them that she will be well looked after, I’m not sure I would trust anyone else to look after her.
