After sales servise

I have contacted the several times on that my head light module does not work on my Mercedes sprinter they just said it was my sprinter and not the module and that was that very poor would not recemmend at all.

Unacceptable after-sales service. The product is shipped without documentation. It doesn't work properly, and they don't provide any solutions. A deplorable company.

Bought a unit 3 weeks ago. Installed professionally but doesn't work. Numerous emails and calls but the tech guy is never available. Called yet again yesterday (premium rate number) always the same unhelpful guy that answers and doesn't let you speak to anyone else. He told my technician to mail in, when I told him my guy is waiting for a reply from last weeks email regarding some data, he accused me of shouting at him and hung up. Have mailed the MD but not expecting much.
Have spent nearly 400 quid to date with nothing to show and it will involve more expense to have it removed so I can send back for a refund. Feeling incredibly frustrated and ripped off.

I was due to make a journey of about 200 miles travelling for about 3 hours (and return) and I was thinking to myself my 75 year old right leg may not be able to take the strain, so I took the plunge and after searching the internet decided to opt for the canm8 cruise control. It was advertised for £190 but I was a bit miffed when I found out that the vat or postage was not include in that price. Ordering and delivery was quite straight forward. The fitting was a bit of a problem, getting down into a confined space to make the connections, but only because the rest of me is 75 too. The instruction took a few readings before I understood them and the test procedures are a bit confusing between digital or analogue or a bit of both, but the conclusion was a successful installation and road test. This cruise gadget saved my right leg from all the stress and was well worth the effort of fitting, it's a doddle to use after a bit of practice and made for quite a relaxing drive. The only concern I have with it is that when I press the set- button to reduce speed and then let it go the car increases speed again slightly, which, when trying to keep a distance to the car in front was a bit disconcerting in that there was a slight delay when pressing the button again in slowing down again trying to maintain the gap. Overall I am well pleased with my new toy which I fitted to my 20 year old Ford Fusion. During the two free phone calls I made to CANM8 I found the staff to be very helpful in resolving a couple of questions I had. Happy driving. Order # 400006114

Cruise control for Nissan Elgrand, arrived promptly and in good order. Easy to fit and works perfectly. Good product, and now issues dealing with the company.

I purchased a cruise control device for my land rover freelander 2 after checking many times on the cam8 website if it was really going to work or if any issues could be met. I got it from them online since I live in Italy. Downloaded all the instructions and had it installed by a professional who made all the wiring perfectly, following the instructions provided. It switches on and everything but when you set a speed it revs the engine to the top sending the car in protection mode. Furthermore it does not disengage when the brake or gas are pressed. I run the setup several times and on different modes, always with the same outcome. Talked with other car electronics professionals who told they would not even touch the thing with a stick. One told me that he used to install this kind of devices but not anymore since half of them seemed not to work for no evident reason.
Asked for a guarantee refund, never got any answer from cam8.
Just lame. And unprofessional behavior.

BUT - their phone number is an 0845 chargeable number and I unknowingly spent £20 calling them. That's 10% of the cost of the item that I bought.

This seems petty and mean on a sales line.

My rating would have been 5* without the phone nonsense.
