I’ve used Canvey Castles multiple times, but unfortunately, this will be my last order with them. We recently ordered four tables and covers for an event on August 25, 2024, and faced several issues that ruined the experience.

This wasn’t the first time we’ve had problems – back in May 2024, we had a similar issue where the tables were changed at the last minute, just the day before our event. We hoped that would be a one-off, but clearly, it wasn’t. For our August order, we were notified the day before the event that the colour of the covers was changed, leaving us with no time to find replacements elsewhere.

When the tables arrived, they were in awful condition – uneven, wobbly, and dirty. There was a sticky residue on them, which clearly indicated they hadn't been properly cleaned before delivery. The covers also arrived in poor shape – dirty, stained, and one even had a hole in it.

This is the second time we've faced these issues with Canvey Castles, and at this point, it’s completely unacceptable. Such a lack of attention to detail and poor service has a real impact on events, and I’m extremely disappointed. I can’t recommend Canvey Castles to anyone looking for reliable, quality service for their events.

Hired a small Barbie castle for bank holiday Monday they arrived at a good time straight in back garden put up no messing then collected at a good time was good value for the money I would recommend

I hired a bluey costume for my son’s birthday, they were absolutely brilliant to deal with. While they didn’t delivery to my area collection was super easy and they were so accommodating, I picked up on the Friday and I was due to return on the Sunday, however because i am over an hour drive away and I happened to be taking my son to a local farm on the Monday for his actual birthday, they happily fit in around my journey on the Monday and let me return it then. I also noted a few minor internal damages to the suit which didn’t affect the overall use or appearance, I was worried they would think I’d damaged it but I sent a few pictures once I’d got it home and instead of blaming me, they apologised but there was really no need for the apology, I was simply letting them know, bluey was a huge hit and the kids loved it. It was still a fab quality suit and a brilliant hire. Fantastic company to deal with, will use again and also have already recommended them on socials to people asking for a list costume. Thank you so much, my son had the best 4th birthday!

Hired a bouncy castle for a birthday party. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Canvey Castles arrived and set it up as promised in the morning. Canvey Castles came as agreed to take it away early that evening. It looked good - was good -the children had a great time. First time of hiring from Canvey Castles. Will have no hesitation in using their services again.

My family have dealt with this company before, hiring chairs for a party and enjoyed a great customer service, so naturally I thought I'd use them again.
From my last minute panic request for extra chairs, through to resolution they were polite, helpful and most importantly reliable! Would totally recommend.
