!! AVOID !!

!! AVOID !! Car purchased on 13.06.25 and within one week we needed to replace the tyre & battery (which was accepted by them and that they would refund). Still waiting and manager does not take calls. Within two weeks the car developed a serious fault (which was pre-existing and independently verified) and the car hasn’t been roadworthy since. Despite providing evidence and rejecting the car in line with the Consumer Right Acts, this has been ignored by the company who initially said they would repair instead. However, as the manager is consistently unavailable and does not return calls and has shown himself to be unreliable and untrustworthy, which, given all the other reviews I have read with a similar theme, is a reflection of the company as a whole, I am not willing to send the car back to them. Just a shame I didn’t come across these other reviews before making a purchase. The initial salesman was friendly enough, otherwise a total bad experience and financial loss suffered. Shameful conduct by this company.

AVOID ‼️ This is not a 1 star review

AVOID ‼️ This is not a 1 star review. 1 star is extremely, extremely generous‼️

Leaving this review to warn others.
Completely AVOID ‼️ Check reviews. Lots of fake reviews and they will bribe you to take down a bad review (someone in the google reviews said they offered something in return to take down a bad review)

They have scammed a lot of people and are surprisingly known for it yet still getting away with it. They will likely reply to this review calling it defamation.

Everything about this place is dodgy and they will take advantage of you. You will not be able to get into contact with them. They give out incorrect contact details (we were given incorrect details and someone else I have spoken to also received incorrect information) They will hide, lie and it seems like they just don’t care. The people who work here should be ashamed.

‼️ AVOID!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!‼️

AVOID AVOID AVOID!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Sold me a dangerous unroadworthy vehicle knowing I have two children under the age of 3!

There was problems with the car on the way home. I got an independent vehicle accessor out to do a report. He found the vehicle had previously been in a rear end crash and repaired. Multiple issues!

The made up admins fees on the spot before I bought the car.

They have been giving me fake emails and keep giving the same excuse when I ring them “the manager isn’t in”

We are involving trading standards, auto trader, watchdog and also taking them to court since we have had absolutely no response from them!

As soon as they get a bad review they get their mates to leave good reviews.

We are in contact with a local newspaper and other people who have been conned by this joke of a company.

Subject: Formal Complaint – Renault Arkana Purchased 09/06/25 – Request for Refund, Compensation, and Return of Property

To Car Depot, Firths Yard, Mill Road, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, WF13 2HP

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the Renault Arkana purchased on 09/06/25, which was delivered late that night.

Upon inspection in daylight, it became immediately apparent that the vehicle is not in the advertised “mint condition.” It is covered in scratches and emits a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The tyre pressure warning light was on, and all four tyres were at incorrect pressures—despite the £500 charge for a “full point check.”

I contacted your office on both Wednesday and Thursday following delivery and was assured of a callback on both occasions. I received no follow-up.

I have since had the vehicle independently inspected. The findings include:

Exposed internal wiring

Evidence of previous rear-end collision damage, repair, and repainting

Mileage exceeding the advertised figure by approximately 10,000 miles

Licence plate indicating the vehicle is registered in Ireland, contrary to your claim that it was a personalised UK plate

These issues represent serious misrepresentation of the vehicle’s condition and origin, and constitute a breach of contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Additionally, you are in possession of my house keys, which were left with you during the transaction and have not been returned.

I am therefore requesting the following:

A full refund for the vehicle and cost of the car I part exchanged

Compensation for the cost of the independent inspection, the inconvenience caused, and the breach of contract

Immediate return of my house keys

Please respond in writing within 7 days of the date of this notification. If I do not receive a satisfactory resolution within that timeframe, I will escalate the matter to Trading Standards and initiate legal proceedings as necessary.

Wow where to start?

Wow where to start?

Told these fellas about my neuro diversity and they used the info to rip me off.

Undocumented admin fees that are made up on the spot.

Baffling changes of price in 30 secs, which is confusing and annoying with adhd.

Low ball trade in offers

I spent 6 hours trying to buy a car with them. The one I did buy mysteriously developed an engine fault within 3 days. I wasn't allowed a test drive in it.

I see why now.

If you want to be exploited and abused instead of treated like a person, this business and you are a match made in heaven

Cash not included on invoice, shocking after sales service, sold a dangerous car and all the owner of this business does is hide.

Read the 1 star reviews on Google and auto read for more of the same.

Cowboys. 0 stars.
