Ordered sub - Saturday morning, paid for next day delivery, so would expect delivery on next working day which would be Tuesday. Tuesday comes looking forward to installing this, but in fact receive email ( on delivery day ) to say it’s out of stock and could be a few more weeks.

I’m annoyed since they had no stock and the website allowed you to place the order. Then to be told they were out of stock on the day of delivery !

I’ve used this company in the past and it’s been fine, but I won’t be using them again - and reading the other reviews this stock issue is not a one off.

UPDATE - in order to give an objective review, I was refunded promptly and in fairness the communications were polite. However the above facts still stand.

Everything about this company is awesome.
They helped me in every way shape or form.
I wanted a particular sub and they didn't stock it anymore so they pointed me in the right direction of another one that was just as good, that would fit my system. I wasn't sure on the gauge of my cables and was told how to find out. Customer service is just awesome! Every query I had was answered quickly and efficiently. They know what their talking about when it comes to car audio. I wouldn't use any other company.

Great customer service and amazing customer helpline and all around great company would definitely recommend.

Ordered 6m 1/0 AWG cable (black) which website was showing it is in stock. On next day had phone call about black colour is not in stock but they can send red cable and will be delivered Tomorrow. On next day just got an email from PayPal about full refund and no explanations. Called them and they said they tried to call me but there was voice mail (message not left and they had my email so there was two ways to contact with me). Red cable was not in stock so they cancelled my order and waste my 1 day.

Excellent prices , I scoured the internet and found the best price was right here . Excellent communication which is fast and yes they do reply. Don't go anywhere else.

Ordered a Pioneer Stereo from Car Audio Direct, order Friday, received to my door within two days to Ireland.

Extremely easy to deal with, had a few queries on extra parts for the stereo after initial purchase and every question was answered by Dips in a very helpful and speedy manner.

Would definitely recommend a purchase from CAD, will definitely be returning here and recommending to my friends.

Ordered 3.5" speakers for my car. on opening the package I found that I needed the 4" ( DOH ). emailed caraudiodirect and explained my error. Given full no quibble refund so therefore I had no hesitation in placing a further order for the correct speakers. Arrived within two days. Great service. Highly recommended

Excellent response regarding my enquiry.

Purchased a car audio unit in June 2016. The price was very competitive to what i'd seen on other sites & I was given first class advice on the extras required to complete my fitting. Goods arrived very promptly after payment was made.

in July 2017 the unit suddenly stopped working so I contacted Car Audio Direct who asked me to return it for a replacement as it was under 2 year warranty. I returned the unit on Saturday & was told on the Monday that the replacement unit had been ordered from France. My brand new unit arrived on Friday.

Excellent & very professional service and I would thoroughly recommend this company.

It's a shame there is a no star rating, this would still be too high! Received my order without any problems, decided to return it under the 14 day cool off period but they kept saying I had returned it as a damaged product and would take £10 off the refund, couldn't be bothered to argue over £10 so agreed then the fun started, 3 months down the line I still had no refund after numerous emails and telephone calls, each time being told it would be paid 'today' or 'passed to accounts', in the end I had to make a claim via Visa through my bank who refunded my money after a couple of weeks, the bank refunded all my money! Yay to the bank, boo to CAD, do not buy from these people, unless you just like giving your money away, anyone out there with an outstanding payment go to money saving expert.com who can guide you through the payment protection schemes, and make sure you keep all of your docs and emails as you will neeed to send them, or, just don't buy from CAD in the first place!

I have been waiting for nearly two weeks for a refund, sent multiple emails, every single one has been ignored and when I call, they seem completely clueless and say they will speak to the accounts department. Absolutely abysmal service, fine if you want to buy something but never try to return anything to these thieving shysters.

Bought a kit to make my car accept double din stereos and also get the steering controls to work. Product arrived quickly. Installed it yesterday and couldnt get steering controls to work. Sent an email and had a nearly immediate response, steering controls now working perfectly! Will use again for my car audio needs. Cheers!

Having placed an order with you, to enable my car to have 'Bluetooth' availability on my radio in my car, my first order from you was incorrect , so with the kind, patience and dedication from 'Dips' and his 'perseverance ' to solve my problem, the correct Facia, lead was dispatched. I thank him for his devotion to please his customers. And, how he gave me a choice of 'two' different Facia's, and his expertise in 'explaining', before I decided, which would involve me 'cuttin-off' inappropriate 'lugs' to make the fitting complete! Dips, is a very important asset to Car Audio direct , and has a great 'telephone' technique and comes across as very honest person. Thank you.

I wanted to buy a new stereo for my car and found car audio direct to be the perfect company to supply it. Dips and Jag where absolutely brilliant they where both very knowledgeable about the product that they were selling me. I had to ring back for some tec info and dips was fantastic and helped me to get my stereo working perfect. Well done :)

Not sure if this is a rouge company but I've been waiting 8 days for a refund.and every time i get through they keep telling me it should be in soon never had any problems with a company like this before

Purchased a car audio amp from their e-bay store.
Fitted it myself 2 weeks later , but there was a fault on the left channel.
I sent an e-bay message explaining the problem.
The company emailed me a DPD label for return postage and within 2 days of sending the faulty amp, i had a brand new replacement delivered back to me , no questions asked.
Excellent customer care, courteous and professional.
I would recommend this company and will use again in the future.
