It was refreshing to have someone on the other end of line, who listened and made me feel as if my problem was important. Information as discussed was received as promised. Also a follow up was made after couple days and caused me to review the list again and re look at one of the options.

My mum was admitted there in May 2026 she had dementia she was 92. The times I visted her I found the bed sheet was soaked with urine. Another time her catheter leg bag tube was hanging below her foot . Other times mum was stuck in the lounge that is very small all day no one gave mum pressure lifts . Then mum landed up with pressure sores . a doctor should have signed end of life he didn't another doctor was called in to do it . The food they serve the people is worse then prisons and hospitals . Most of the carers cannot speak English. I thought the manager was nice at first then she lied . She was supposed to keep in contact with me and she was liaising with my sister in law who is only family by marriage. The manager promised to give me back my mums phone i loaned to her she gave it to my brother . The front of the home isn't wheelchair accessible so you would not be able to ring the bell at the door . The place is run by kent County Council. It needs to be shut down . I was very close to my mum in 2023 I stayed with my mum for 9 months and cared for her I could see she was slowly going through dementia unfortunately doctors and adult social services took no notice nor did her grandchildren. Now she's dead she died on the 24th July 2026

Care home.uk have been very helpful getting my husband settled into his care home.He is in there for six weeks respite while I go into hospital.
All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Someone called me back after my inquiry they were very helpful ,thoughtful they asked lots of questions to get a background understanding of what help I needed then provided me with a list .
A few day's later they called the see if everything was going well.
I was very happy with the help provided.

Super efficient
I only had to talk to one person (Meg) who took down al the relevant details and contacted all the relevant care homes in the target area. The care homes interested in helping contacted me and I did not have to go through all the detail again. this was a huge time saver for me, especially as I was looking for a placement for someone who was very seriously ill. Incredibly helpful
Incredibly helpful. Answered all of our questions, in fact, answered quite a few that we hadn't thought of. They managed to narrow the choice of care home down to a manageable list which in turn helped us find a local home so much quicker for mum.

I had difficulty in understanding how some of the care homes have such a high rating when clearly when you visit them,they are no where near the guided rating. Until I had a conversation with one of the staff working for carehome co.uk .All of the care homes pay a premium for heighting the profile of their care home . Subsequently negative feedback gets removed or our terms and conditions doesn't allow it you will get told.
So please pay no attention to ratings from this service . Just in it to make their money and not interested in the welfare of people who clearly need support and proper advice.
In the comments below from the company its so obvious that you remove negative comments regardless how you protest .I'd suggest that you visit some of these places you rate so highly then try to sleep at night saying your giving a balanced view for someone to be placed in the care of these people
