Unprofessional, Unsupportive & Emotionally Draining
I worked with Carepro as a frontline support worker, and honestly? Never again.
The recruiter, Aaron, showed zero understanding of what it’s like to work with high-risk children. I was placed in unsafe situations—physically assaulted, spat on, emotionally drained—and instead of receiving support, I was blamed for not “engaging” enough. Not sure how Aaron, who sits behind a desk and isn’t a trained support worker, thinks he can evaluate what happens on the ground.
I submitted detailed reports, flagged safeguarding issues, and even informed the social worker directly. All ignored. His feedback felt cold, passive-aggressive, and more about protecting the agency than helping me.
What’s worse? The moment you assert yourself or stop entertaining his tone, the “support” magically disappears. Based on what I’ve seen others say too, this seems like a pattern.
If you’re a woman or a serious professional who values your wellbeing—steer clear. This agency is not built to support you, just to control you
