DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE.

I did a part exchange, my car had a balloon payment which they confirmed would be settled and sent fake screenshots to try and prove they had. The car they also sold me didn’t have the spec it was sold with. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Not the best dealer. They sell fault components that do require fixes.Id recommend , private dealers or dealers above 2 star.

Not the experience I expected

Not the experience I expected. Communication was poor, follow-up was disappointing, and I felt like once the transaction was done, any responsibility or support completely vanished. Would recommend being cautious and asking a lot of questions before committing. Definitely not how business should be done.

This company goes by a local family business that quotes…. Buy with confidence from an established local family business where service is paramount!!! Absolute joke and I hope I can protect anybody else from going through this experience!!!🛑

ABSOLUTE CON MAN

ABSOLUTE CON MAN, TERRIBLE TO DEAL WITH, ANYONE WHO HAS BOUGHT A CAR OF THESE CHECK YOUR WARRANTY AND MAKE SURE ITS VALID AS THEY TOLD ME I HAD 6 MONTHS WARRANTY WITH MOMENTUM TO FIND OUT THEY DIDNT HAVE A CLUE OF ANY OF MY DETAILS, THE CAR HAD PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM WHERE HE WOULD IGNORE ME AND SAY HE WAS ON HOLIDAY, WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY THIS IS, SHOULD OF READ THE REVIEWS ON TRUST PILOT, ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING AND WHAT A DISGRACE THIS COMPANY IS, THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR

Excellent service all round

Excellent service all round. They delivered the car exactly when they said they would. Also made sure there was plenty of petrol left in for me. Very pleased with the service and delighted with the car.

CON MAN!!!

Still haven't received payment to finalise deal. Finance still outstanding on car traded in and now a default has been added to credit file. Cannot get in touch with sales man. Got a message with a picture of a cheque from sales man's dad saying he's in hospital yet no check arrived. Tried to contact for months!!!!! Avoid at all costs!!!

Never buy from this garage sold me a…

Never buy from this garage sold me a car with fumes in car found out turbo was going rejected car took a week to collect it I had no car during this time arrived a day late to collect which was a thur should have paid finance back that day rang on the Friday to be told he was away until the Sunday I also found out he hadn’t paid the finance off on my old car and had it up for sale stating fsh which it had not got absolutely disgusted please read other reviews wish I had

Stay well away

If I could give zero stars I would. Nearly 4 months ago my daughter part exchanged her car with the agreement that her outstanding car finance would be paid off but it still has not been.
The car sold to her was shocking and broke down 4 times in 3 months however payment for this was finally returned so she could buy elsewhere

The initial car has now been sold on with outstanding finance which is illegal and trying to get this payment off car motion has been a nightmare with numerous false promises and excuses.

We are still trying to get this payment. If I could offer one piece of advice it would be to NOT deal with car motion because our next step is the police as he had in effect stolen this car and now my daughters credit rating his shot to pieces

Ghosted once it broke after 3wks

Anyone else had issues with a car bought from Carmotion Blackburn
I purchased a car and 3 wks later it broke.
They promised to collect to return so i could recieve my cash back. That was on the 13th April. FIVE WEEKS AGO.
22 fone calls have been ignored and sent to answer machine.
I believed they were reputable but it seems they are not at all.
I am warning everyone to make sure friends and family and not ripped off like me and left with a broken useless lump of metal.
Truely disappointed in the awful customer service you get if theres an issue.
All nice and smiles when they take your cash but wont return it when they sell you a dud.
3 wks and the gearbox breaks 🤷‍♀️ £4,700 down .
Now its court orders and lots of hassle so do yourselves a favour and find a garage with a better reputation. I wish i had.

I've had a Horrible Experience with Carmotion Blackburn Limited

I paid Carmotion Blackburn Limited, in full, for a Ford Focus car on 03/04 Jan 2024. We agreed that the company would deliver the car to my place after sorting out the paper work and making a minor fix.

After a week of not hearing from the merchant, I reached out to them via their WhatsApp business line, but got no response. After a further 3 weeks of near total silence, I got fed up and demanded a refund, since he was not forthcoming with the car. The vendor neither acknowledged nor responded to my letters.

On 08-Feb, my wife visited the merchant's car lot to demand for our money. He agreed to refund the money and issued us a cheque as security. After waiting another month without getting a refund, we paid in the cheque on 08-March but the cheque was returned dishonoured on 12-Mar! I immediately notified this merchant of his bounced cheque and asked him to make a bank transfer to my account. It is now 03-April and he has yet to refund the money.

The week leading up to Easter, he promised a family friend that he would pay us within 5 working days. When this family friend reached out on the 5th working day, He nonchalantly responded that he was on a day off with his kids and does not have time for such a discussion!

I have never experienced this sort of transaction in my life. It has caused us so much distress like paying interest on money that we have not derived any value for. I do not wish to use impolite words but the attitude of Carmotion Blackburn Limited is akin to a SCAM and I am really surprised at the positive reviews that I have read.

As it is, I am now having to incur additional cost going through the legal system to recover my money from Carmotion Blackburn Limited.

Illegal MOT.

First time buyer…was excited with new purchase. Upon day of delivery I was told I would be expected to recieve my car at 11am. This turned into a story about it not being picked up by transport (human error I guess) was still very hopeful. When it was delivered at 9 pm in pitch black after me advising that my brother would be there to inspect it I felt I was left at a disadvantage with time it was delivered.

My brother was unhappy with the noise it was making. Pointing out certain faults - the owner knowing I had already insured it - gave me a few options return it or take 500 off I opted for the 500 off As I felt I had already insured it for the year and was rather excited. N my brother promised to fix it- the main CONCERN I HAD was when my mechanic brother took it into work and found that the horn wire was cut the horn was also broke (legal requirements- which couldn’t pass a MOT) my fog light wire was cut also. The exhaust hanging off. The MOT WASNT WORTH THE PAPER IT WAS WRITTEN ON….the owner HOWEVER….asked me for video evidence - told me that my warranty would pay for the horn to be repaired & declared to be outraged at the concerns mentioned above.
Personally I reckon he was more concerned with the bad review I posted and asked me to change it. I changed that as requested -due to him calling me unfair and sent me angry emojis at what I says above n says I was a cow n jest lol for being honest in the service I recieved, more interested in his online reputation than the legalities mentioned.

However I was never sent a new warranty was told it was emailed but never was. My issue is this was an illegal sale due to false MOT and I was told I was unfair with my review well I feel legal requirements are not to be laughed at they are put in place to safe guard people. Following this I was then told I could drive to Blackburn to return it - I live in Glasgow lol - as PER law requirement I wouldn’t be permitted to drive with no horn especially on a long journey. Absolutely disgusted at his lack of awareness about that aspect too. Even to ask this of me.

Not until I have read his reply to my review and questioned him on it have I received the offer to collect the said vehicle.
I was only offered to drive to Blackburn with it being faulty it’s only been driven to my brothers garage lucky if it’s done 7 miles so don’t worry I’ll leave breaking the law down to your mot man shall I ?

I have never portrayed u as uncouth however I did mention the comments in wer jest. Which is fine until serious issues are being discussed.

My brother has fixed the cut wire for the fog light he has also fixed the exhaust that was hanging off and I’m waiting on it being seen by the electrical side. As wires were cut, ofcourse as a business I would expect u to want evidence which was sent following the request. Was it not ?

Everything was banter and ok until I was told that the mot was only a visible check (yes) however invalidating that it should have flagged up advisories in regards to the vehicle. As if I was wrong for saying this.

So basically felt invalidated yesterday because i upset him because I mentioned reporting the mot garage to the dvsr. & him to trading standards at my wits end.

& his silver tongue wasn’t getting me out the mood I was in, because for 2 days straight and poor communication style without properly explaining made me feel even more unheard.

I then asked when I recieved the warranty if I had to activate it which was said in the small print but he had already said it was activated this was a genuine question in movement towards resolving.
However I seem to have upset him with my review.
My bad , kinda like what he said when I asked for the warranty again.
& he forgot -within 20 mins of me loosing my calm & hanging up i recieved the warranty. Which was all I was looking for. I’m not up for battling someone’s ego.
It’s not my fault the mot was not worth the paper it was printed on.

I feel as humans it’s our duty to safe guard other people from experiencing these types of things happening. Duty of care. Everything else is irrelevant.

I appreciate you taking the time to relay your experience and frustration at the events surrounding the delivery and subsequent issues with the car that you purchased from us here at Carmotion Blackburn.

I have to iterate, at no point have we denied that there were issues with the car or refused any course of action that you wanted. At the point of delivery, your brother advised that there were some issues with the car. We accepted this on face value as we weren't there to inspect the car and gave you the option to refuse the delivery and we refund you the deposit. We also offered a goodwill of £500, if you wanted to take the car and use that towards the cost of any repair. At no point were you forced into making any decision. You were happy to take the £500 along with the car and then take care of any work that was required to be completed.

I was very apologetic about the whole situation and tried to deal with it as best as I possibly could, being over 200 miles away from you.

A week or so later, you subsequently raised the issue of the front fogs and horn. Yes, I was disappointed that the one of the garages we use to carry out MOT's had seemed to have missed the horn not working and front foglights not coming on. I don't think I did anything wrong in asking for video proof, it was a genuine request so I could go back to the garage and point out what has happened. Of course I was going to be disappointed, we don't expect that a car that we have just sold to have such issues. In response to you highlighting angry emoji's, lets please have some context to the conversation and a balanced argument. Our whole conversation, from your initial enquiry has been one of jest and banter. It has continued to be like this, even up until yesterday, when you were sending messages on whatsapp, so please don't portray me to be some kind of uncouth person who slanders customers. The conversations are still on my phone. Anyone reading them with any sense will see that the dialogue between us both, was playful and friendly.

Coming back to the car, and I apologies if this is dragging on. As a dealer, we take all our responsibilities seriously. Yes, it seems, on this occasion, the car isn't quite up to standard. We have tried to rectify the situation. The warranty, which you have received, will cover the cost of repair. I have again offered you the choice of a refund. Which you refuse to answer me on.

Yes, I asked you to bring the car back to me, if you are not able to, I am more than happy to arrange for it to be collected. I am here to help resolve this situation and at no point have backed away from helping you. If the car is unsafe to drive, I hope that I am correct in assuming that it will not have been driven at all since you discovered these issues, as per law requirements?

Again, to make clear, we take all responsibilities seriously and if ever any issues we arise, we try our best to resolve them as best as we can. Mistakes can happen, problems can arise, but it is how we deal with them that is important.

I hope that we can resolve this matter that is satisfactory to us both.

Very happy with the car and customer service received. They gave me a fair price for my car that I gave in as a px. The car i bought was very clean and had no issues with it
