Very good experience and everyone very helpful and polite, carpet is ordered, looking forward to it being fitted on 7th August. Lovely staff.

If you’re in a hurry for your flooring then maybe reconsider carpet right. Ordered vinyl flooring for my kitchen on 27th may, salesman didn’t really feel like he gave a toss and niether did the man who came to measure the kitchen. He wasn’t very talkative and any questions I had seemed to put him off, which I was right about because he actually measured the kitchen WRONG. Luckily the fitters were very nice, very friendly, very knowledgeable and did their best to fix the problem. The two stars I have given are actually for the fitters. 4 weeks after ordering the kitchen floor and after being promised a phone call I had to contact from the store to find out what the delay was, there was no communication from them whatsoever no emails or anything. Dougie who I dealt with actually changed his tone when answering the phone and dealing with me, even though he hadn’t heard from me since 27th may, when I asked if fitter’s could lay a bathroom floor at same time my reply was ‘I don’t know’ not even I will find out or here’s the number to ask yourself. Eventually I got a call end of June to tell me fitter’s would be coming on 15th which was another 3 weeks away, had I known this I would have looked elsewhere as I needed the floor done within 4 weeks and it asks this question when booking the appointment to come measure up etc. 7 weeks later I have the floor done and I have to say that the fitters were extremely helpful men, very friendly and very good at their job. They were on time, very polite and chatty, very efficient and very clean and tidy. Cannot fault those men at all but pity that the staff in carpet right were not the same or were even trained in customer care especially the man who came to my house for an hours appointment to measure up and discuss my options which took him 25 minutes and he measured up my very big spacious kitchen WRONG. Bare that in mind when you’re ordering expensive flooring because even the experts get it very wrong, measure up yourself just to be sure 😅 and don’t buy from carpet right.

Easy purchase and excellent customer service

Scored 1 but this is actually a zero! Do not use this company! They do not deliver on their promises and have now entered administration! Bought a carpet on Monday, it was in stock and fitting confirmed for next week! 4 days later (a week before fitting) the carpet is no longer in stock and been told I have to wait 4-6 weeks for it to (potentially) come back into stock. Why did they sell a carpet that was not available? Because they are in Administration! They are still selling carpets today in their Inverness store and telling customers they are not in Administration (see BBC News and make your own mind up on that)! They have refused to provide a refund due to the Administration so I am now left with no carpet and no money! I paid via a credit card and will apply for a refund through them but that doesn’t get me a carpet fitted next week whilst Carpetright continue to tell lies to make sales to try and keep themselves afloat!

Fantastic service and help! Andy Caldwell was very helpful and give me a few tips on how to take good care of my carpets.

I am very impressed by Gordon at your Inverness store. Extremely helpful and patient and knows his job. As a previous Dept. Store Manager I think this company is very lucky to have him.

Carpetright were really exceptional! I came on the phone with only a description of the flooring and some measurements in ft not meters and they were so helpful. We were also unsure about the fitting fee and that was explained. We were given a quote.
I called the next day, to pay but couldn’t find my quote on the email. Callum and Gordon were brilliant. Managed to trace it and sort everything out. Everything was made so simple. Surveyor and fitting all explained. Really recommend Carpetright.

Carpetright have messed our order up big time. After ordering months ago and choosing our flooring in store, the fitter has turned up today with something completely different, not even close to what we picked out in store. Having looked at our order email it also appears it was wrong on this, but how were we supposed to know the name of the flooring when we picked this out and trusted that the salesperson would input our choice in to the system? We have also paid for the wrong flooring. We have wasted a day of annual leave, the floorer will not get paid today (through no fault of his own) and this has completely messed up our plans to move in to our new house as we need flooring before we can move our furniture in which was supposed to happen on Friday. Not only is this a massive inconvenience for us but is also costing us extra. I will be seriously unimpressed if we aren't offered a refund and the situation isn't sorted imminently. Would not recommend after this experience.

The salesman was knowledgeable and friendly, excellent service. Unfortunately we had to go through around 20 carpets before we found one that was in current stock, but I did get what I wanted in the end.
