The overall experience at Carpetright was excellent!
From the moment my wife and I walked into the Salisbury store we received a very warm welcome from the store staff, which really made a difference. We explained that we wanted to re-carpet our entire house whereupon your member of staff (Darrell) listened to what we were looking for and who then proceeded to offer us the best advice on the products that were available on the day.
We selected our carpet, which allowed Darrell to booked a home survey the following week. The survey went very well and after the cost was agreed to re-carpet the whole house the fitting phase was booked-in and commenced a few weeks later. Just brilliant, the fitting team were excellent, and both my wife and I are very please with the new look and warm feel to our house - thank you Carpetright!!

The salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable but we felt a bit rushed through the payment process.
We were somewhat concerned with the size of the carpet recommended as there is more than 4 square metres of waste.
We were also surprised to find an item on the invoice called "making it easy" - unexplained and of no use it seems.
We were also charged an additional fee for the arrangement of the fitter outside of his fee.
This has left a bad taste and we won't use carpetright again.

Update 24th May
Carpetright got in touch and explained the "making it easy" charge - it seems that this is for the delivery and storage prior to delivery. Apparently this is explained on the reverse of the invoice so get a paper copy!
The wastage is because the 5 metre width is not available so we have to have a 5 metre length of the 4 metre width.

Had all this been explained better at the time this would have been a 3-4 star review.

Lovely selection of vinyl . Sales person was very helpful in choosing the best for my kitchen, hall and entrance.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant in store and readily made ammendments to my order.
One thing that was confusing was the discount offer. I pointed out that my invoice that was ammended to include bathroom flooring did not include 20% off for this flooring. I ordered this a few days later after the original order. The offers change quickly and it is not always clear exactly what the customer is entitled too.

First class service from Coral at the Salisbury Store. This is the 5th carpet I have purchased in the last 2 years, great price and good fitters.

Made order at Salisbury branch with condition fitting carried out on 21st June or 22nd June. Next day got an e-mail with a May fitting date. Meaning I now have to spend more time re-arranging date. To me this represents rubbish service

I ordered vinyl which I thought included floor thresholds and fitting -having made a journey as had to order in store not on the website??? On examining my receipt found that I had to pay the fitter on the day. Making total cost much more expensive that expected so cancelled order.
