Visited the Aylesford store on the off-chance of finding something suitable within budget. The store manager (L) was a delight to talk to - patient and friendly, not pushy. Also very experienced, so when we needed to assess if a remnant would fit 2 odd-sized bedrooms, landing and stairs he was able to work it all out, and get the pattern direction right.
He kept the carpet in storage until we had finished some renovations and never hassled us once.
Low fitting cost too. The two fitters did a great job - particularly where the stairs turn 90 degrees. Can't fault the finish.
I recommend this firm and would not hesitate to go back in the future.

So much choice for every budget, friendly and helpful staff, carpets fitted and looking great, will definitely recommend and use again

After having our carpets. We have now had our sons house done at a great price. But also my daughters house done .Mike is so helpful and does not rush you and gives you great prices I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a ist class carpets at a great price we tried the rest but this company is the best best wishes to Mike and all the other staff

I have been messed around from the start with this company, arriving late, not finishing the job, rebooting and still not turning up (blown up van!!). They have refused to give me my money back. I have used them for years without any problems so thought I would go back to them, it has obviously changed hands and not for the better.

The staff when I brought carpet was great but sorting out times for a fitter was a joke . I rang and they said we don’t give a time . So been in all day rang at 4 and was then told we was the last call as fitter lives in Luton . So I don’t understand why they couldn’t tell me this earlier. No way would I have s carpet fitted this late in the afternoon . Attitude of staff member when I rang was rude . Won’t be shopping with them again

Absolutely thrilled with my carpet and flooring. Can not fault this company, great prices, top quality products and Gareth the carpet fitter was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for him!!

A big thank you to Hassan at Chingford branch. We were looking for a simple, immediate and short term solution for small kitchen, bathroom, toilet and shower room. Very helpful, good advice when I looked at possible ends of roll vinyl flooring. Made sure we bought the right amount, booked delivery and fitting, all done within a couple of days. Good to get the same service for a small sale as given to those looking to spend much more. Thank you.

Went into our Whittlesey store and within 10 mins I’d picked and paid for the carpet.
They arranged me a fitter who arrived on time and did a great job,
I had a small issue and called the carpet fitter for advice, despite him being very busy he arrived back after his working day was over (7.15pm) with a couple of tools in hand.
Sorted the issue in a couple of minutes.
What a ⭐️ star!!

I recently visited Carpets4Less Bedford, hoping to purchase flooring vinyl advertised in the store as cut to length. After spending considerable time selecting the perfect roll, I was informed with a chipper tone that they don't cut on Sundays due to having only one staff member working. This crucial detail was not mentioned anywhere in the store.

To make matters worse, I overheard the same only staff member telling another customer on the phone that he had to get off because there were other customers in the shop. This clearly indicates poor staffing and planning, which should not become a customer's problem.

Overall, my experience was highly unsatisfactory. Proper staffing and honouring advertised services are fundamental to good customer service, and Carpets4Less Bedford fell short on both fronts.

Always polite and professional service and very quick delivery and fitting. We recently had a carpet fitted within four days of ordering, and flooring delivered within two days of ordering. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Paul, and your team.

Purchased a vinyl flooring that had several manufacturers defects . Reported to shop the guy on phone had serious attitude and said “ I’ve been doing this 36 years bruv “ I mean who talks like that.

My dad has been a multi trade person for 50 years and fitted hundreds of carpets and vinyl floorings and never seen a defect like the one I have in my flooring .

Tried to explain to this guy the way this particular vinyl is made and educated him but he wouldn’t listen and tried to fob me off that it’s been creased . Now I folded an off cut really twisted and even left a 30kg dumbbell on it . Guess what no bubbles

The guy then ran out my house like a little girl when I said what he was saying was nonsense.

This was the Colchester store in Essex I advise anyone not to buy anything from these cowboys and stay away from the budget shop.

Basically doesn’t matter who fitted it when it has a clear manufacturing fault . The uk law protects consumers against faulty goods and overrides any store policy you may have .
Should be an option for no stars or even negative that’s how bad my experience was with this company

Another great job by Craig and his helper they fitted my bedroom carpets last year and they fitted my landing carpet and stairs carpet today well chuffed highly recommended great fitters great people thanks guys see you when you do my living room and hall
