"I had a deeply distressing encounter…

"I had a deeply distressing encounter with an individual I believe is associated with this carpet company today. This person stared persistently, and when I asked why, their behavior became very aggressive. They then threatened to steal my mobile phone, which had footage of their actions and vehicle registration that I had taken for my own safety. As someone who is autistic, I found this conduct extremely intimidating and upsetting.

I feel it’s important to share this experience to highlight concerns about how vulnerable people may be treated. The person in question informed me that they were the managing director of this company . I would encourage the company to investigate this matter thoroughly to ensure all customers are safe and respected. I am also reporting the incident to the relevant authorities given the threats made."

The cheapest of the Carpet stores in the area and a brilliant service by Spencer and Ryan top quality product

Absolutely Delighted – Top Quality, Great Price, and Superb Service!

We are so glad we found Carpet World London! After using Tapi Carpets for our last flat, we found that despite all the flashy “50% off” sales which were still on five years later, the price just kept creeping up and up – the same story again this time. So, we decided to shop around and crossed the North Circular to explore a few other options.

It was nice to see what looked like two small English firms there, after having a look at both and talking to the people in both stores – Carpet World really stood out. From the start, the whole vibe there was just more welcoming, honest, and straightforward. On top of that, they came in around £700 cheaper at £2,495 for fitting carpets throughout our three-bedroom house and vinyl in the dining room (excluding kitchen and bathroom), which was a huge saving.

We’re so pleased we chose them. Spencer and Ryan did a fantastic job – they worked quickly, professionally, and helped move everything around. The carpet they installed not only feels luxurious underfoot but it’s got that lovely smell. I was the only one in the family who wanted wood like everyone else on the planet seems to have but the rest of the family I wanted Carpet so Carpet it was, and I think they were right– you can really tell it’s a quality product.

All in all, we couldn’t be happier. Brilliant value for money, excellent service, and a lovely final result. Would absolutely recommend Carpet World London to anyone looking for new flooring without all the sales gimmicks and hidden costs.

Carpet World London

I hired Carpet World London to lay a carpet on my staircase and landing. Initially, the carpet seemed fine, and I even thanked the fitters for their work. However, after they left, I noticed a loose area on the stairs. Upon further inspection from the cellar, I found broken wood pieces falling to the floor—damage that was clearly caused during the fitting, as the staircase had been inspected by the business owner beforehand and was intact.

When I called the owner to discuss the issue, he was extremely rude and immediately dismissed any responsibility without even consulting the fitters. The lack of accountability and poor customer service was shocking. To make matters worse, my neighbor had a similar issue with them—had I known beforehand, I would never have used their services.

I strongly advise against using Carpet World London. Their careless workmanship and unprofessional attitude make them a business to avoid.

Disgusting service walked into the shop…

Disgusting service walked into the shop … totally ignored
I was in the shop for 15 minutes walking and looking at laminate and carpet as I was refitting my new house and in the shop was an old man and a younger man and I was totally ignored so I left and went over the road , what a completely different store greeted as I entered helped from the first moment and nothing was to much of a problem
In the end I spent over £3500 on my house
So to finalise if you want service DONT GO TO THIS COMPANY
