But every year the international range gets smaller and smaller……..which is a shame as the majority of the population is expat.

Today I had an experience. I visited your outlet in Madina Mall, Qusais, with my family to purchase a newborn baby’s dress. When we went to the dress section, there was no staff available. We waited for 20 minutes for someone to come. After that, I went to the customer service counter and requested them to send a staff member to the baby dress section. They sent someone who had no knowledge at all about that section.
I then asked to speak with the duty manager, and they told me the duty manager would come shortly. But no one came. When I asked for the duty manager’s contact number at the customer service counter, they said they could not provide it. Later, a Malayali staff member passed by and asked me what the issue was. When I explained, he told me that there were no newborn baby dresses there and suggested I go to another shop.
I told him this was not our first time shopping at Carrefour — we had purchased newborn baby dresses from there before. On hearing this, he challenged me to show him the newborn baby dresses from that section. I took some time, but I managed to show him exactly where the newborn baby dresses were located. After seeing this, he muttered something under his breath and went back into your store.
My question is: Why does such a large Carrefour outlet in Madina Mall operate without having enough staff? The staff there do not have any product knowledge, and they are diverting customers to other shops. Please, do not waste customers’ time. Assign enough staff to the sections, and it would be better if those staff members have proper product knowledge.

I placed an order for Nutella 825grm and Extra Large Eggs .. instead of Nutella received another Brand 2 bottles of 400grm and instead of Extra Large Eggs I received normal Eggs where 6 pcs were Brocken !
When I called to costumer care they told me to bring it back to any hypermarket which I refused, then they promised that they will collect it by currer and refund the money which NEVERE HAPPENED since 3 weeks.

I went to purchase a laptop in Mall of the Emirates on September 9, 2025, fresh, new and sealed. When I opened it at home there's a small particle inside the screen so what I did is I went to Sharjah City Center to inquire what to do with the item, because Sharjah City Center is only in front of my building, near and convenient. So I went there and talked to the costumer service lady, she called the manager Mr. Suraj and they both showing me an unwelcome presence, not helpful solution and asked and lecturing me what to do in my next purchase (using a bad tone). They let me put the item inside the box and left without a farewell, they left me very fast and for me it's insulting. So i went to the Mal of the Emirates again to consult the item, it only take a 30 mins to replace the item, very welcoming unlike in the Sharjah City Center Carrefour.

I placed an order online this morning, and the payment went through successfully. The delivery was scheduled for 4–6 PM, but after 6 PM I called to follow up, only to be told that my order would not be delivered because my area was supposedly 'out of the way.' This is the first time I’ve ever heard such a reason! I even paid a delivery fee, yet the order is being refused due to location. I purchased a Super General air conditioner, through carrefour’s application and the product details on the application did not include the rating from the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) or any energy efficiency classification, which are essential for making an informed purchase decision.
Upon receiving the product, I was surprised to find that its ESMA rating was only one star, a fact that was not disclosed on the product page.
As a result, I immediately requested a return and refund. Since then, I have been the one following up daily with customer service team to process the return. In the end, I was told that I must pay AED 100 delivery charges because the product is from a third-party seller and this issue arose due to Carrefour’s and the third party failure to disclose key product information, not due to any fault on my part. Charging the customer a return fee in this situation is unacceptable and contradicts principles of transparency and consumer protection and Carrefour take responsibility for the error not the customer

Never ever will buy to carrefour dcc.the worst and defective product they are selling. We bought an amount 1700 for hisense washig machine and the delivery guy is on a hurry to install and left with out spending time to review the unit and check. They brought the unit with out box.and true we found out its defective item.. so hard to refund the item to them even their customer service dont know how the procedure.we waste tike to come.call and approach them. I had horrible experience at Carrefour BurJuman, especially at cashier 12. The staff were unhelpful and unable to make decisions. The team leader had to call the supervisor, who then called the manager and even the manager couldn’t decide whether my items could be held for next-day delivery. It was clear that none of them were trained to resolve simple customer issues. There was also a lack of clear information. I was told that if I buy worth of 400 AED they can deliver it the same day. However, upon paying at the cashier they told that appliances cannot be delivered as it is appliances and they never explained that. If I purchase it online they can deliver, this doesn’t make sense. Also, I asked if I could leave the items at the baggage counter but they refused too. The only answer you can get from they is “no”. The only helpful people were the porters, who were polite and did their best. But unfortunately, the poor service from the cashier and top management ruined the experience.

On Thursday, 26 June, for Order No: 784020008117588, I was not home at the time of delivery (around 2 PM). Ahmed, a young gentleman whom I believe is Egyptian, called to inform me that he was outside my apartment at Royal Breeze 4, Al Hamra Village. I had ordered some perishable items and requested that he leave them outside in a way that would prevent spoilage. Despite my usual preference to avoid plastic bags for environmental reasons, Ahmed went above and beyond by neatly packing everything in brown paper bags with great care and attention to detail. When I returned home, I was genuinely impressed by how thoughtfully and professionally he had handled the situation.
Today, he delivered another order (Order No: 784010008280744), and I had the chance to ask if he was the same person who had delivered my previous order. He confirmed it was him. I had forgotten his name, but I had already intended to send feedback last week to commend his professionalism, problem-solving skills, and courteous manner.
In a world where good service often goes unnoticed, I believe it’s important to recognize individuals like Ahmed who represent your brand with such excellence. His actions reflect a high standard of customer care and responsibility, and I sincerely hope this feedback is acknowledged and shared with him and his supervisors.
